Melle Mel gets it when it comes to the Tupac and Biggie situation. He said what I've see very few other people admitting to. In that, if Biggie was the type of hitter that he was presenting himself as being, he would have been able to give Pac some warning that there was a bit of a target on his back. Yes, I know Biggie warned Pac about Haitian Jack, but I'm talking about the Quad City shooting. Jimmy Henchman admitted a WHILE ago, that he set Pac up to "teach Pac a lesson".
@kisswriters
@kisswriters Жыл бұрын
He tried to warn him multiple times; but duke thought no one would ever press him-until it happened. B.I.G. had to live in Brooklyn with those grimy cats and their goons, so he couldn’t declare against them… Pac should’ve directed his anger at the scum that set him up, not the brother caught in the middle.

I hate when people say dumb shit. Biggie didn't even know Tupac was in NY. Jimmy Henchman wasn't in the session with Biggie, so how could Big warn tupac about something he didn't know was going to go down? That's like blaming the Mayor of Dallas for the shooting of JFK.

@Hassan I'm A liar BAMBATTA what a lot of people fail to realize is that big and pac was cool for a year that’s it. 93-94 they wasn’t fam from back in the day. Big had love for Pac and vice versa. What people always fail to realize Pac was messing with niggaz from the street that big didn’t want no smoke from. Those guys Pac shouldn’t have NEVER messed with had a strong rep in Brooklyn. Where was big from and still living ? Brooklyn. I’m a huge Pac fan and biggie but the street is the street. If you get a warning from niggaz and all they say is yo. Dont mess with dude like that why the hell do I need to get into details? If we rolling together and they from my hood and I tell you not to mess with niggaz dont mess with them. Pac made mistakes bad ones. Do you realize that the two biggest mistakes Pac made for himself got him shot both times ? Talking shit about niggaz that are from the street in the news paper in the 90s from Brooklyn !!!!! Nah you buggin. Putting hands on a crip when you a big star and you have muscle that’s supposed to hold you down. Like people need to stop idealizing Pac and act like he was this perfect human. Pac and big was cool when who shot ya was recorded. Pac knew who shot him while he was in jail word got back to him very quickly. There’s a lot of gaps in pacs story. There’s also his famous song against all odds. That had Pac lived he would’ve had to answer for. Like a lot of fans gloss over the fact Pac poked the hornets nest all for street rep. Was it worth it in the end ? NO. It literally cost the man his life. I’ll argue with any fan about this. What Pac did was dumb. All these people on this channel that get interviewed and tell Pac stories don’t know the east coast and Brooklyn like that. All they talk about is the west coast and biggie being foul. I’m from New York and lived during this time period. Bigs hands are not clean in all of this. He didn’t set up Pac. puff knew Pac was getting robbed that’s a fact. Big didnt. Big never would’ve been cool with that. Big hid pacs gun when he was shot that’s a fact. Big wasn’t allowed to see Pac in the hospital that’s a fact. Puff was getting extorted from niggaz off the street and Pac new that . That’s a fact biggie never should’ve signed with puff that’s a fact. Puff and Pac had no love for each other that’s a a fact. There are way to many moving parts in this situation that made This “beef” bad I know a lot of things from the east coast side not the west that is never mentioned. If people wanna talk about Pac tell the full story not just the west side of things. Pac was a genuine warm individual who was in bed with devils. I feel bad for Pac bc all he wanted was love and to have people around him. He was around evil people who never deserved his loyalty and it cost Pac his life bc them niggaz was down for the money it wasn’t love. Look what mob James says about Pac claiming MOB niggaz took offense to that. Pac was in bed with niggaz he never should’ve been messing with. Like really look at his life and who he dealt with. Everything was all good when he was with D.U. And thug life bc it was about music. He got into the street shit he gets shot. Caught head from some hoe in New York that Haitian jack and king tut introduced him to he gets a fucking charge talks shit gets pistol whipped shot and robbed. Gets out of jail goes to back to Cali sucker punched a crip niggaz tool up and kill Pac. Yes he had run in with the law prior to that but he had to much negative surrounding his whole life. Very sad

Modern rappers prob think Melle Mel is corny because he's so understandable, and you can understand every single word that comes out of his mouth. He told 50 stores in the Message and New York New York, not just one, and he didn't talk shit about how rich he was pretending to be either. His music crossed race lines because EVERYONE has been poor to some extent. He also employed REAL musicians, like the bass player, and even Grandmaster Flash was working for real, not just running a sampler on a computer. People have become MORE ignant, NOT less. THey just IMAGINE they got smarter....
