So, one of my favorite things about this comeback when it happened was that it was right after Vincenzo being huge, especially Taecyeon's role. So there were a lot of newer people discovering 2PM in the hype and aftermath, and there's just something I love about when new fans discover idols outside of their music, usually acting, and there's just that wow factor like, "They're an idol?! They can sing?! They're in a group?!" etc. lol. I feel like D.O is also starting to get to a point now where people are starting to recognize him for his acting first.

I LOVE 2PM! They are so much fun. 2PM has a yt channel with multiple self produced shows. I only know of a few dance practices. They are known to be LOUD AF crack heads 😹. Not one of them is the quiet or the sane one. Everyone is just different kinds of loud and insane 🤣. They have not disbanded but they havent had a comeback since 2021 and I NEED ONE ASAP! 2PM are a 2nd Gen Kpop group debuted in 2008. This is a group of MEN hahaha. They are the OG BEAST IDOLS! I am also a new fan of 2PM because of Junho. I discovered Junho and his amazing acting through the K Drama RAIN OR SHINE. By the end of the series I had completely fallen into Junho’s Rabbit Hole. And in doing so discovered 2PM. The only Boyband that I have ever followed or care to follow. There is something very special about these 6 men. First they are all incredibley talented. As singers-the fact they actually sing live, composers, dancers. But what I love most about them is their bond. They actually love, respect, are proud of each other’s success, and you can see this in their live performances, variety shows, interviews, etc. I am in awe of their individual talents. And how humble and caring each of these men are. Junho who is my favorite has recently won major acting awards for his dramas the RED SLEEVE and KING THE LAND. He has composed over 100 songs for both 2PM and his solo career. And Junho has performed over 100 solo concerts. Definitely need to check his solo songs and performances out too. All of them has had very successful solo activities. and are composer and song writers. All have acted in Dramas. Movies, or Musicals. And each of them are truly proud of and support each other"s solo activities. What also amazes me is how freaking good 2PM’s music really is. You HAVE to check out their actual live performances-and how they interact with each other on stage. They are crazy, funny, unpredictable, they make you laugh and cry. I recommend starting with on of the GUIDES TO 2PM. Also any and all videos by GO CRAZY GO 2PM. All Live performances. Their variety shows. Enjoy I just started this Journey into Junho and 2PM”s rabbit Holes in July of 2023-and I don’t plan on coming out. These men just make me extremely happy.

2PM is the group that coined the title "Beast Idols", which means they are very athletic, muscular and toned -- they had/have a much more masculine image then the typical boy group when they debuted. (They debuted in 2008, so this year is the group's 16th anniversary.) In their early days they were also known for their B-boy skills and for their tricking. A lot of their early songs have choreography where they were doing a lot of tricks and tumbling, which was something new in the world of Kpop, and it made them unique. However, over the years they kind of stopped doing all the tricking in their choreography because they realized that they have to be able to perform these dances on music shows and live in concert, etc. and that meant they had to put a lot of extra training in to make sure they could execute the moves well. I remember in the early days, during their dry-run rehearsals for music shows, they were always falling or messing up and they would take a lot longer to film some of their performances because they were so stunt heavy. "Make It" came out in 2021 and this song was part of 2PM's highly anticipated comeback after being on hiatus for 5 years as the members all took turns serving in the military. Must is the name of the album. > Wooyoung -- who is the the main dancer and a vocalist -- is the guy who started the song and he was the one who wrote and composed "Make It." > Jun K -- who is a main vocalist -- is the one with the high notes. > Nichkhun -- who is a vocalist, rapper and the visual of the group -- is the one that sings the first chorus. > Taecyeon -- who is the main rapper and a vocalist -- was the rapper. > Junho -- who is a main vocalist and lead dancer -- sings the second chorus. > Chansung -- who is the maknae, a lead rapper and a lead vocalist -- is the one who sings the pre-chorus and the bridge. (When they debuted they were all 18-20 years old; so in this MV they are 31-33 years old.) Fun fact: They used to be a 7 member group which included Park JaeBeom -- Jay Park -- the founder of AOMG, which is one of the most well-known and influential hip-hop music companies in Korea. Jay Park is Korean-American and he originally was the leader of 2PM, but because of some misunderstandings and controversy he left the group about a year after debut and became a solo hip-hop artist and music industry mogul. As a teenager in Seattle, Washington, Jay Park was a member of a B-boy dance crew, so his skills as a dancer are where JYP got the idea for 2PM's group concept. 2PM is a JYP group, so their choreography and song style is very JYP-like. JYP is known for his dancing and he has a hand in, not only producing his groups' songs, but he often participates in creating the groups choreography, so you will see his style and influence, especially in the early days, of all of his groups. 2PM's fandom is named Hottest because 2PM is supposed to be the hottest part of the day. And they were actually created as the counterparts to JYP's ballad boy group 2AM. 2AM's fandom is named I AM because 2AM + 2PM = one day and when combined they become "I AM Hottest." The groups were sort of designed to be the polar opposites of each other as part of their concepts. 2PM was also one of the very first Kpop groups to have a Thai member. Nichkhun is known as a prince of Thailand. (He's the one that most often has the English lines. Nichkhun and Taecyeon are fluent in English because their families lived in the U.S. for several years when they were growing up.) 2PM debuted in 2008, about 3 months after SHINee -- both iconic groups who are still going strong and topping the charts even after more than 15 years in the industry -- so even though 2PM is a JYP group and SHINee is an SM group, in the early days, 2PM and SHINee appeared on a lot of variety shows together and they were often paired together. So, 2PM and SHINee are pretty close. This was the golden era of second gen. On a side note: GOT7 originally was created to be the junior version of 2PM. So, GOT7 was supposed to take after them, that's why GOT7 debuted with the song "Girls Girls Girls." It is also one of the reasons why GOT7 members Mark and Jackson trained in martial arts stunting and tricks because I think JYP was hoping to replicate 2PM's style and skill set.

Not only "one of the first" but THE FIRST to have a Thai member and also the first to have someone from any Southeast Asian country. In Thailand he is credited with increasing interest in K-pop because back when he first debuted, they were more into K-drama since Dae Jang Geum and Full House were very popular. In the past decade or so a lot of 2nd gen idols made the news for the wrong reasons but there is something special about them whenever I see them together on a show these days. Shinee, SNSD, SuJu, 2PM and Beast/Highlight are still savage and hilarious whenever they are together.

This was the first comeback after a hiatus also due military service. They ARE STILL ACTIVE. They recently celebrated their 15th anniversary. My personal favourite song is I'll be back. Love that song. well the MV maybe weird but it really shows the time of very early 2010's. Another good songs are Again and Again, Heartbeat, Hands up.... SKZ also did on Immortal songs (JYP Special) a cover of Again and again...if you didnt see it, its also worth it. Ofc SKZ did their own spin on it.

Yes, 2PM is still active. Well, they're not disbanded lol. The guess have solo activities such as acting and stuff so there's not as much group activity as in the past but they're still together. They just celebrated their 15th anniversary last year with concerts in Korea and Japan. I went to their concerts in Japan and they were amazing. I've been to Junho's solo concerts too. Incredibly talented group, great personalities among all of them, but rather underrated nowadays as most people gravitate towards the younger groups. Personally I love how mature and sexy 2PM are. They can do things that the younger groups wouldn't dream of. For example, check out "I'm Your Man" at House Party. They're not called the Beastly Idols for no reason. Their fandom name is Hottest btw, because 2PM is the hottest time of the day.

They are one of the best groups in 2nd Generation of KPOP. They're also usually paired with also the Legendary Girl Group of 2nd Gen which is GIRLS' GENERATION. Hope you'll react to them also. 2nd Gen of KPOP is known to be the "GOLDEN ERA OF KPOP" to older kpop fans because almost groups have no inhibitions or they don't care about issues if they were seen or paired together unlike nowadays. please consider reacting to riize for the next chooseday. i feel like you're going to like their songs they're a new boygroup under sm(same label as exo, nct, shinee, aespa, red velvet), debuted a few months ago but so far all their songs are bangers. actually two members are former nct members. i recommend watching their 'the fillin' live' performance(its like a killing voice but with 4 full songs with a live band, and a bit of behind) however because it's 28 minutes long if you'd rather watch something a shorter there's also an 'it's live' performance without the behind but with only two of their songs(same concept) i hope you'll consider checking them out!;)
