I find a low shelf cut around 1k takes care of the 350-800 mud but keeps the vocal sounding natural and naturally gives a top end shine without boosting much. I've found that all the modern tools make vocals sounds lifeless and boring (sooth, dynamic EQ, reso etc). A lot of advanced techniques we see on tutorials are only good in extreme circumstances to save a turd, but actually take us further away from a good mix where knowledgeable use of the basics really yelds the best results.

350hz and 2k are most frequenly problematic regions, i used to deal with dinamic eq's, so i can control more those frequencies!

I hate 2300-3700 range, it's really difficult to nail this region in vocals usually

Would you use a broad eq for all three of the frequencies? Wouldn’t that basically be the whole mid region

I see that you took down my post about low mid high frequency buss vocals and stereo imaging for how implemented. Its a must and none of you show the reality of this situation which is how real engineers mix why isnt this been shown it must me you dont wnat to or dont know how to facts why isnt this shown to the public 🤔 it taught in music schools you have all the gear you want there no other way.
