This is amazing, but it seems to be used only when Kansas has all but put a team away. I love our Go Big Blue chant that we use as a rallying cry to cheer our team on to victory. Doesn't always work, but it usually does. :)

Yeah they're both great chants - it's an unwritten rule that the chant doesn't start until the game is undeniably over. Sometimes it's with 2 minutes left, sometimes 10 seconds. If a game comes down to the final possession, you won't hear it at all. It's the nail in the coffin.

Would be way more haunting if they just got rid of the stupid "whoo" during the pause between chants. I don't care if you think otherwise, but the chant loses its intimidating effect when things like that are popularized.

Rock Chalk National Champs 2022. It's unfortunate this version of the chant is from the "woo" era. The chant does not have a WOO. It's over 100 years old and for a brief period some added that stupid woo to it, but fortunately it's largely eradicated again now.

For some reason, the strange people in my town keep running around saying "Rock Chalk Jayhawk." I have even seen this slogan on t-shirts around here. I am not sure what this behavior is or why so many people have been afflicted with some apparent form of brain damage. When I see them, it's almost as if they turn into cartoon chickens strutting around saying "Bock Bock BA-GOCK!" Can someone airlift me out of here? Please and thank you.
