Superbowl between Pats & Falcons--Pats won while leading for exactly 0:00 of game time. They were tied or trailed the entire game until the winning play in OT, at which time the game ended, so no time was taken off the clock.

Most of these records probably will be broken at some point. Though barring new rules the fastest score ever won't be, and assuming the field remains the same the longest return record can only ever be tied, not broken. One thing not included was the shortest field goal miss ever - Bill Bell at 10 yards in 1972. (This was when the goal posts were at the front of the end zone - it's literally not possible to have a 10-yard field goal anymore, the shortest you can have is 19 yards.)

As some have indicated, many of these are either vulnerable, unofficial, have already been beaten or weren't ever the actual record (or have nada to do with actions on, you know, the actual football field). Tucker's 66 yarder will be beat before the end of the decade. I'd add these: Paul Krause's 81 interceptions, since int rates are miniscule now compared to when he played, tho the 2 Woodsons came fairly close. Brett Favre on the other side, with 336 picks. Only 1 QB has exceeded 20 picks in the last 9 seasons: Favre had 6 such seasons. 6 guys with yards/reception of 20 or more, none of which have been active in 27 years. [a guy named Homer Jones in a brief career from the 60's holds the top mark with 22.3] Teams are much more ball control now and nobody has really gone with a dedicated deep passing game in many years. Only 1 active guy in the top 140. Devin Hester's 20 kick returns for TDs (Pro Football Reference doesn't count the one he got off of a missed FG).

The biggest blowout victory belongs to the Bears. Back in 1940 the Bears won their game (depending on where you're looking) 72 to 0 or 73 to 0. It may have been the NFC championship game, but it stands as the most lopsided victory ever.

That was back when Ford Sr. owned and ran the team. It wasn't until his daughter, Sheila Ford Hamp took over that the Lions started their climb to the top. She knew she loved football but knew nothing of running a team, so she got people in there that knew what they were doing. It's too bad Ford Sr. and Ford Jr. never figured that out.

There is so much wrong information in this video, I couldn't watch all the way through it. Two big, glaring inaccuracies, the Browns weren't the first team to go 0-16, the Lions were. And going back, the Lions weren't the first team to be winless. The Bucs, in their first year of play went 0-14. I want to say another team went winless prior to that, but I don't want to go looking through records. The same day that Tucker hit his 66 yard Field Goal was not the day someone broke the record for longest missed field goal return. They tied the already existing record of 109 yards. Cromartie set the record for missed field goal return in 2007, 14 years prior to Agnew. He was the 2nd person to return a missed field goal for 109 yards, and the third person to have a 109 yard return.

Baker Mayfield has the longest pass in NFL history. In 2020, he threw a pass that was in the air for 70.5 yards against the Ravens in 2020. You're talking about the longest completed hail mary pass. The Lions were 0-16 in 2008. The Browns didn't set the record. They tied the record.

Modern NFL = post 1970 AFL/NFL merger There are records that were set and are still recognized and honored before 1970. Any records that were set between 1920 and 1969 are on the books and should be recognized as well. 59-0 isn't the largest point differential in NFL history. The Bears beat Washington 73-0 in the 1940 NFL championship game, which is the most points ever scored by a team in a single game in NFL history. **Fun fact: Washington is second on this list with 72 points scored against the NY Giants (RIP Sam Huff, iykyk 😂), which is also the highest scoring game in NFL history at 113 points. What's funny is both of these records were set before the "Modern NFL". There is also another single game record I'm shocked that hasn't been surpassed yet given how offense is so prolific these days 😉
