@Default User Sorry my dude, took me a while on the reply. While the nevermore cover is definitely worth banging my head to eventual internal decapitation... It does not carry as a cover. Disturbed kept the sound, the tempo and the ambiance, and delivered a 'harder' sound so in tune and so faithful to the original... that I can't agree. It's not nothing in the least, it's perfect silence :)

I'm more into very heavy music - even old Metallica is basically "easy listening" compared to most of what I listen to. But this song has a special place for me. When my now wife and I were dating, she had to go to the hospital for a few days, and the first night I played this song, since "nothing else mattered" for me except her getting better (which she did). Even my roommate (one of my best friends) was surprised I was playing something so soft. Later on at our wedding, he had the DJ play this for us. It's goosebumps every time I hear it now.

I just love you two! I am 56 & love my hard rock & metal. You make me feel not so alone. I still get a kick out of the young ones when they hear metal seeping out my car window, look over & see me, lol! So funny. Would you please react to my favorite band that got me through the hardest time im my life? For 2 years I listened to nothing but DISTURBED. The lead singer, David Draiman, is the first person ever whose voice I never grow tired of. They are very talented & versatile- a band that you can't label or put into a mold, as their music ranges from "Down with the Sickness", a very controversial hard rocker (20 years young now) to their remake of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" in 2020 & shot it to a whole new level of greatness. Many of their songs have meanings & messages that everyone could stand to hear. Example: "Who Taught You How to Hate". Thanx for taking time to read this & hope you experience DISTURBED someday soon! Love both of you!🎼🎶🤘

I would love to see you react to Five Finger Death Punch- I Apologize. It’s about Ivan’s ( the lead singner ) struggle with sobriety and drugs. And references some amazing artists we’ve lost who dealt with the same issues.

I think i remember belly drumming this entire song one night when i was bored, i loved it both with my belly drumming and how it is on its own ! And your reactions are always fun to see :D Can't wait for an Avenged Sevenfold song to be reviewed by ya gals, maybe Nightmare could be a good start ?

A great track that shows a soft side with just a sprinkle of bad ass to let you know they can put both together.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but the song was never meant to be an album track - James wrote it for his girlfriend, and was singing it to her down the phone. The rest of the band heard it, put some music to the lyrics and came up with this masterpiece. It's very much a love song, and lends itself well to other meanings as well.

@@TwoRockingGrannies Hey, just wondered if you can do a Linkin Park reaction - it's been 3 long years since Chester passed away, and it's still a shock today. I'd recommend Breaking The Habit or Heavy - both have added meaning since Chesters death.

I love Metallica they’re my all time favorite, this song was on their black album which represented a major style change, some loved it some hated it. This was my favorite of all the albums but I love everything they’ve done except the snare sound on the st anger album and that horrid shit they did with Lou reed

even Metallica themselves admit that album was a mess.

It would be awesome to see you reacting to Danzig, maybe “Mother” or “Am I demon”, I can also recommend to listen to Pantera or Mastodon.
