The bass player's name is Sean Yseult. I believe they started the band back in the 80's and were dating up until the time that their last album, Astro Creep 2000 was released. Their relationship soured and eventually broke up and Rob disbanded White Zombie in favor of starting his own solo band.

Fun story about this album. My best friend wanted to buy this right after it came out, so 1994 or something. Being in a small town, Walmart was the only close place to buy music. We were looking for this album and couldn’t find it, so he asked the young man working in electronics that day where it was. The worker, totally serious, says we don’t sell devil music here. Granted the album title that this track is on is Devil Music Vol 1 but still it was hilarious to both of us. We left laughing hard. We went to a bigger town to find it that day, I bought a copy too and wore the tape out. Yes, cassette tape. Black Sunshine is another good track off this album too, to check out.

My second concert ever was Coal Chamber opening up for these guys, and Manson was supposed to headline. Keeping in mind that this was 1997... The more fervant religious right in my area protested it and the show was cancelled. After a venue change and TWO reschedualings, Manson had started the Japanese leg of the tour and couldn't make the date. I didnt get a chance to see Manson again til 2001. However...Coal Chamber and White Zombie absolutely tore the house down and I had bruises for weeks thanks to a knarly stage dive!!!

I met Rob Zombie and his current band and they are the nicest people ever🤘! He's incredibly short though 😂. He's a very good guy. Vegan, grows most of his own food and is a huge animal advocate. He's been with his wife for years. He's pretty much a horror genius. His parents were carnies. He is a very interesting person and his story is long. He puts on an amazing live show!! His guitarist John 5 is also amazing if you've never checked him out you should. He used to play for Manson, until he abused him. Grannies, please check out I Prevail!! Either Gasoline, Bow Down, Breaking Down, or Come and Get it. Also, check out Avatar's new album Hunter Gatherer. A Secret Door is a very unique song. Corey Taylor from Slipknot whistles in it. He also is in the song Colossus. Love y'all! Keep it up!!

La Sexorcisto was is my FAVORITE White Zombie album, which Thunder Kiss 65 was released on. Little fun fact kids, “yeah” was a song lyric used like 111 times over the course of the album.

Oh another thing about Rob Zombie is that when he started this band when he was 18 Rob was working as a crew members on the Pee-Wee play house tv show then when he would leave work he would go and join up with the other members of White Zombie to play music after work.

However, his parents quit their jobs after a riot broke out one night. People were pulling out guns, beating each other up night and lighting tents on fire??? I read this on an article about him. At this point we probably will never have White Zombie reunion from interviews I've seen which is a shame. Rob finally performed some of the WZ songs during his last tour. Met most of the band over the years and had a couple beers with Robs brother Mike aka Spider One of Powerman 5000. All of which were hoping Rob would come around and revisit the past. The band split up in the late 90’s after the 1997 remix album SuperSexy Swinging Sounds which was reimagined versions of the songs from the Astro Creep 2000 album. They only made 2 full lengths and the remix but they were epic. Rob went Solo in 2000 with Hellbilly Deluxe
