this show is the best thing that ever happened to talents like Kyuhyun or Kang Seung Yoon who to some extend has proven himself to be great solo vocalist with strong presence but seemingly overlooked because of their background as popular idol group member. By "famous" you mean, less people know them? Then, I think you had no idea how famous WINNER are in Korea 😅 maybe internationally, yes. But in Korea, they're well known. Not just in the name of "WINNER", but individually too. As for Kang Seungyoon, he's bloody well known. People, regardless of age know him better than other famous group member. In 2010, he even won ROTY even before sign with YGE. He's everywhere in Korea that time. People even called him "Mnet's son" bcs he frequently come out on tv after his appearance on SuperStarK2.
