Because his voice is so deep it really give a completely different depth to the song. I lost it when he started singing loudly. It reminds me of everyone who is emotionally hurt but they can’t find comfort from others so they find it within themselves. Even if you tell people your story, they can’t understand it fully unless they can feel what you’re feeling. But we all know that no one can understand our stories better than ourselves. Maybe that’s why we all seek comfort within ourselves. Until we can’t hold it in or handle it anymore because so many emotions build up. That’s when we break down. There are many people who don’t want to admit to their emotions. When they do however, they get scared and run away because it’s too hard and too much for them to handle. That’s why those that run away from their emotions are able to endure and hold out longer than those who admit to it. Because admitting to our emotion is they same thing as losing because it’s so painful. It brings out the pain that we tried so hard to hide. We can’t face our emotions because we’re scared that it may be too hard or maybe even more than we can handle. Breathe is a song that Jonghyun wrote not only to comfort those who are going through a tough time but it was also written to comfort himself. He did what no one else could do for him. He did it for himself. But I think the emotions that he was going through and fighting against was much more harder than we could even imagine. That’s why I thank him for writing this song. Because of this song, I’m sure many people who are going through something so unexplainable, painful, difficult, or hard, are comforted when they listen to this song.

A completely different version of how lee hi sings it. Both version emit the same message His voice was crying, it made me very emotional especially with how he tried to carry the chorus by the end. I was teary eyed, I felt I was being comforted. This is a special song, more so with it's background. One cannot just sing this half heartedly. Great job man

Sadness aside, I really enjoy this guy's performances. The anticipation and tension he creates as he sings from beginning to end is so passionate and delivered flawlessly.
