Thank you for the video. I am glad you are feeling better. I loved all your cards. I love that you showed the oops card. Nice to know that you didn't trash it but made it work. TFS

Use an anti static device on vellum before stitching and inserting sequins. That should help with the pooling of sequins.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea! Those are so cute! I think I might use your idea to make overlays for some project life cards, but use washi tape to adhere them instead of thread. I have tons of words and phrases in vellum; they would be great for project life cards!!! Thank you for the inspiration! I think I'll be using your idea! Never would have thought to emboss on vellum! Thanks again! :)

In case this wasn't already been suggested... placing a tiny piece of tissue paper over any area that the sewing/presser foot gets hung up on, may help it glide over.

This are super cute! If you had a piece of paper over the embossing...would that protect it from the foot on the sewing machine?

maybe stitch then emboss if you have it all planned out so you know where you want to emboss....?? Cute cards though. :) the rubbed off embossing gives it a sort of distressed look.

It was the matching stamp set for this paper line by American crafts. Oldie now. So maybe search for American crafts stamps?

Thanks for the tutorial! Really cute idea! Did you use a regular sewing machine to sew those? It looked like you were "pushing the cards through something"...Was it a different kind of machine? I don't sew, but I could do that!! Thanks so much!
@lornaoldham60876 жыл бұрын
If you use a walking foot on your sewing machine, you should be able to stitch over the embossed designed without harming it.
