I have to admit, i like the variation on this setting. Warhammer fantasy has made a beautifull setting by grabbing a fantasy race and doubling down on their stereotypes. Dwarves being extra stubborn and masterfull engineers. But i like what para bellum does with the dweghom fight for freedom. I'm invested!

The Dweghom lore of three factions reminds me a lot of American politics and the different way each faction/party treats and remembers the War of Independence and the significance of the Constitution.

So all the Dragons are dead? And there are no more loyalist Dwarfs? I feel like that's a missed chance for interesting lore and conflicts. I mean if the Dragons had expanded personalities and the Dwarfs had reasons to be loyal. Like them being created by their parent race and all. IDK just doesn't seem as compelling to me and my friend, as it could be at least. "He likes the spire because they look like the Bone reapers." Home-brewing a Dragon hold would be so fun, to me at least. I mean Dwarfs defending their master from their genocidal brothers would be COOL!

Not all of the Dwarves are dead, they're hinted at being part of the dungeon crawler Para Bellum is working on based on Yggdrasil.
