Ah yes, the famous "life was better before", said by every generation, one after the other. Some things might be worse but some other certainly are not, especially concerning music accessibility. Anyone in their 20s can freely enjoy this music in 2024 so how is this not better? I think your bitterness is mainly due to nostalgia, this music being linked to your youth.

Australia has a rich tradition with and portfolio of electronic pioneers and producers, even so, the mid-90s was an especially golden period for many things and people. the (various) genie hadnt yet fully escaped the bottle/s, never to return, so to speak. good times in the days before "the phones arrived enslaving all they meet"
@freshvesh27513 жыл бұрын
“The phones arrived enslaving all they meet” I agreed to this and liked it as I typed and listened from my phone…. Wtf happened to me. I didn’t get a smartphone til 2016 and now I’m as bad as anyone

Yesss!. I love the electronic music produced in Australia..from fantastic Trance, classic and more actual House, or even experimental producers!. Now people are enslaved by phones, a total catastrophe! In the 80s and 90s, those were different times..where people enjoyed dancing in clubs

The good news is, it's easier and cheaper than it ever was to get into music production. While fresh "retro style trance" probably wouldn't make the radios, i'm sure there is an audience for it. Even if you're like me and never show your tracks to anyone, it's a great hobby.
@divade94sb2 жыл бұрын
@@paulthomann5544 I am also a fan of old school trance, I guarantee you that there is still a huge audience that still appreciates and dreams with these tracks, I urge all artists who produce old school trance and techno music to make themselves known, to study themselves well self-promotional strategy with and to make yourself known, obviously if it is really a passion we must not allow real music to die !!! TRANCE MUSIC heritage of humanity !!!!!!!

Definitively the one of the best way to produce a track with high energy, without having a high bmp rate, is introducing four notes between beats, and this is a good example of that.

@@jimmyboyd817 I've born in 1991, I completely understand that phrase. But the world didn't fade in one day. It actually was years, I remember 3 completely scenes: The 1990s - no phones, ppl would be very empathic/sympathetic to others, amazing life, great parties, technology didn't exist at all, we have a black TV with an antenna, Nintendo and VHS later - TV by satellite didn't exist - the internet didn't exist *even though it was created: it had very few pages, and you couldn't buy online - not even a memory card existed for PS1 - we had massive respect for people, friends, and girls were very different, not toxic like today - cinemas were magical - we used to go to immense pool parks with thousands of other ppl all around the city - the radio was amazing, every song unique - dating was terrible(but also not necessary) bc girls were distant at that time, if she knows or liked you great - having a girlfriend was rare and everyone in the city would know, it was crazy shit like the 80s song - we go to stores to rent VHS and meet ppl daily -we actually go everywhere to meet ppl. - nature was appreciated - you have live rock bands like Soundgarden. - skate was unknown to society - a lot of pro skaters making championships in your city or around - NASCAR, football, and Formula 1, no words - Tupac was alive - Tim Burton was a top director at that time - you spent time with your family most of the time - most foods were natural, with no chemicals added - bully was real in the schools - things like marijuana and drugs are not only extremely illegal but bad fame in society - you had that old propaganda on TV with a hand "stop drugs✋" which was later removed bc psychologically it influenced kids to use drugs - Might PowerRanger was the shiiit - Titanic - Techno raves were intense - Pearl Jam, guns, and roses, nirvana not very known like you think but who knew loved it In the 2000s: hip-hop culture immensely took control thanks to Eminem and 50 Cent - we had few stable services over the internet, Google created its first page which barely worked awkwardly - top webpage, AOL, and Yahoo was the shit - the world of video games took place - we had Nokia and ppl started to text to date, have faster contact or gossip - girls were not hard, but a little bit entitled - there was no fashion, like copying some artists yet - it was the last days of amazing nightclubs - ppl started to be more reclusive but slowly - pop/rock/EDM songs were top quality - VHS was over by DVD - ppl stopped buying magazines because the internet - cinemas are still good but not great as in the 90s - the movie Matrix was released in the cinema in 2000, I watched, and I loved but everybody hated it. - hair cuts changed - clothes changed - a lot of modern buildings that never existed in the 90s took place - WTC collapses - Bush was a pig president nobody loved him after 2013: - ppl started to feel self-entitled - gay movements which were rare took place - feminism never existed before - everybody got a smartphone - technology - ppl became zombies - religion disappeared - chaos - kids don't know anything that we knew and value about the 90s - men don't fight anymore - guys chase girls and would change you for the girl and say "I don't know him" - cheat your partner is ok - having sex with everyone you want is also ok and encouraged - ppl say that love and relationships don't exist - ppl say that religion doesn't exist and "we're gods" - fashion again revenge - nobody cares about politics anymore it's something automatic expected to be corrupted - the quality of clothes decreased an 80% - everything is 3x expensive before it costs less than 1 dollar but now is 3 or 4 or 10. - hair changes - music is bad - toxic behavior starts to be normal -
