Guys two things... 1. Get yourselves two cooling vests... Nothing fancy... Just the ones you can dip in cold water for a minute and squeeze out the excess water... And wear those under your mesh jackets... And you'll be cool for 4-5 hrs... Then resoak in cold water and repeat... And 2. Do not wear anything on your back like a backpack or anything else... Just wear your mesh jackets... For maximum heat transfer... Happy riding guys... Love from India...

The best option I’ve found for the hot weather riding in Nevada and Florida are dirt bike gloves. They don’t offer protection except for the sun. They’re paper thin and dry quick. So they keep the sun and rain needles off the hands. Better than no gloves. Also cheap to buy and replace. Happy riding you two. Look forward to more of your new adventure.

You're right, those light and thin off-road gloves are much better than wearing nothing, they will protect from the sun, and they'll be a lot airier than regular motorcycle gloves. Thanks for the good advice for summertime riding!

I love your new intro song! But I probably told you that last week. Great gear review and I really look forward to your two up on a little bike. Don't we all wish there was an AC suit sort of like the heated riding gear? Plug it into your bike and set the temperature to 66F or whatever is comfortable... I do not envy the heat and humidity though. I hope you can keep your cool and not end up in jail as a crazy foreigner!

@2Up and Overloaded You are so right. I've only worn it a couple times now. That helmet is just barley over 3#. My Bell was 3oz shy of 6# !!!!! The Transition lens is to die for. The quick fasten & release strap is a game change as well. I've just got my Cardo Edge all moved over now. I'm heading to The 50th BMW Rally in Richmond, VA tomorrow. It runs the 8, 9 &10. Hey there, Btw Tim, you are cool if you think that you are cool. Thanks to you both for the gear review! The heat will be constant in Indonesia, but in some ways, that may be better because you will not have pack for multiple temperatures. Just 🔥! This will be especially important when riding a 230cc bike. I just got back from 3 weeks on the Blue Ridge Parkway/ Tail of the Dragon.., and we had everything from snow to 28° humidity. I was comfortable for at least 30% of the time! Lol, slight exaggeration, but I had a tonne of gear. Also, I agree with Tim on gloves. I am constantly searching for the perfect pair. On my channel, I am going to do a review of my current four pairs of gloves and how I only like 2 pairs, and only half of the time! 😅 I have only ever owned one pair of gloves that I have truly loved, and I gave them to my son! I do have my first pair of moto gloves from 1983 that you can have if you want. Warning: Even after 40 years, they still stain your hands black when you sweat in them or it rains. But you can have them nonetheless. Safe travels, and I look forward to seeing your adventures. Tiger Coward 🇨🇦 Ps. Wow Tiger Coward, I loved your latest video of the Tail of the Dragon. Yeah you got hit with all sorts of weather there, whereas you're right, in Indonesia we really only have to worry about hot and some rain. But does that mean that we packed less? One would think, but by judging by all the bags we've brought, I'm not sure it's all going to fit in the new bike. And you also got some Dynamic Motorcycle Accessories stuff, awesome! And finally about the gloves, yes, I know exactly what you mean. And I also had a pair of gloves increase that stained my hands, weird right? That's a great question. I have not yet found the answer to that, but it is a problem, especially with bikes that run hot (we're looking at you, KTM). Maybe wet pants??? Just a thought...

One thing I will never understand: A) The visibility is worst when it rains. B) Most serious accidents with motorcyclists occur due to other traffic not seeing the bike´s narrow silhouette. Then why on earth do producers make rain gear of all the gear in such popping designs as black, a cheerful mouse grey or even camouflage? (And don't get me started on that idiotic camouflage design and motorcycle gear in that context in general: Do they all think bikers are constantly at bloody war with someone or what? 💥🤯🧐😵‍💫)

Haha, good points! Especially about the camouflage, I would think the point of being a motorcycle rider is not to blend in to the surroundings! But I have seen some jackets, and especially rain gear, in very bright neon colors, so I know it's out there. I just think the companies go where the market tells them to, and people don't like buying those colors. They prefer colors they like to wear, that's my theory anyway. So yes, wearing bright colors would definitely help us to be seen, that's for sure. But we're so big and overloaded, that usually helps too. Now on this small bike that we're going to use in Indonesia... we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the interesting thoughts, Sweispur!

@@2UpAndOverloaded Two days ago I was at a crossing in an outskirtish area here near Cologne. A nice sunny day, everything bright and warm and my convertible open.The bit of road to my right was covered by trees. Quick look to the right, all clear, and I took off. Next thing I see is that a lump of something that looked like the part of a shed or so started moving in front of the background due to parallax, thus must have been much closer. It turned out to be some SUV the front grill of which was black and the body around it painted in stone grey. The edgy design of that thing had bright and dark spots reflecting on it perfectly right to make it blend completely with the bright and dark spots in the trees. An Audi or Mercedes, I didn't look more closely, I just dropped my foot on the accelerator to clear the crossing. Even these oversized cars vanish in the right background and lighting. And yes, the companies produce what the customers ask for. True. The Walking Dead seems to have convinced many that it's better not to be seen. Or was it the Monty Pythons?
