You have to assume that everything the previous owner may have touched has been equally butchered by incompetence. You need to check your brakes. Drain the lines, replace with fresh fluid and bleed. I’d install Speedbleeders to suit your 748. Remove brake calipers, clean, check the pads, measure the disk. Check the front forks. Fork oil levels. Check the chain and sprockets. Look for tight sections in the chain. Replace the engine oil and filter. Don’t assume he used decent lubricant. Engine coolant, drain, replace and bleed the air. Check the air filter. Take care. 😊

Excellent video. I currently own a Ducati 748 also and these bikes are awesome. I did all the servicing on mine (plugs, timing belts, quick disconnect replacement on tank, etc. I hope you still have the quick disconnect on yours, it will make life so much easier. Btw, I have been through a storm on the 748 and she was a champ. It has been one of the most reliable bikes I ever own. With mine, I also had a pearl white FZ-07 sitting next to it.

@@2wheelfamily493 it was my pleasure. I am currently getting mine up to speed as I had it stored away for 4 years. The fuel tank needs a full refresh of submersible fuel hoses (30R10) as the old hoses deteriorated. It was cheaper to buy Ducati's "fuel tank refresh kit" for $95 then it was to buy just the hoses online. And the kit comes with 3 o-rings, the filter and the clamps. I may end up doing a video on the refresh.

I don’t wheelie to often but when I do I make sure not to slip the clutch to hard and I make sure the back break is covered at all times. just never try and force a big wheelie it should come natural as you practice. stay safe out there 🏁

Yeah that goes just fine but I have no clue why but for some reason my bike died on the highway and seem like the battery wasn’t charged or something i have no clue my uncle gave me the bike and had no problems until a few weeks after I started riding it

@@Elkings616 I would start by replacing the battery with a new battery it could be that the stator or rectifier is bad not allowing the bikes battery to stay charged.

you need to replace: stator , rectifier and battery all at the same time. you should check out a company called Ricks he makes very top quality stators and rectifiers for decent prices

I'm selling my 2008 ZX10 but I turned the bike into a Streetfighter. If you look back at some of my videos from a few months ago you will see my ZX10 went up against a 2016 BMW S1000 and my Zx10 did a dang good job. I'm asking $4500OBO for my ZX10. Has full system titanium M4 Exhaust, SIK ECU Flash and about 15,000 miles

It’s only a baby that bike is nothing am only 21 years of age and I own a lot of bikes more powerful than that and wheelie them one handed even if they are stock or not they are just baby’s Ducati’s they just need control I know they are like Ferrari bikes but know this they just need half a year to practice on if your a fast learner just handle it if you know what buttons to press on them baby’s they are torque machines but they are still baby’s try Ducati hypermotard you’ll feel more power try fully kitted but not yet try fully stock first because looking your a first beginner so take it easy your too much hand on the clutch let the clutch take you to a nice level of stunt to motivate you need skill on a bike you need to be scared of a bike gsxr would be like a pedal bike to me just feel the clutch power you’ll be a professional by the end of it trust me you’ll be wheelying bikes like they are pedal bikes
