Very helpful review, Shukran Omar. I own 85mm and that's my dedicated Macro Lens. Still getting the hang of Macro so it's gonna take some time for me to realise the full potential of this lens.

Nice review, the minimum focus distance of 16cm on Laowa 85mm vs 25cm on Laowa 100mm is quite significant, but my understanding that those are the distance measure from the camera censor right? And considering that the 100mm body is much longer than 85mm what is the real difference if measured from the front panel of the lenses?

All Laowa lenses are manual focus

Not entirely true with the aperture. When magnifying, the F number gets magnified too, causing diffraction. F2.8 is the equivalent of F8 in some scenarios, meaning focus stacking is a must, however it gives a sharper image than using F8. Also using it on a crop sensor magnifies the diffraction effect. It's of a thing with the 25mm x5 magnification though. Also, when getting further away, f2.8 gives a better out of focus bg which is often desired.
