These elevators were located in the section of the shopping boulevard underneath Emirates Office Tower, and served the parking area for members of J Club (the main fitness club of Jumeirah Emirates Towers) and banquet attendees at the hotel's ballroom on the bottom (P1) basement level of the office tower garage, which was also on the same floor and connected with the underground parking lot of the retail boulevard. Their vestibule from the parking level was actually within the retail parking area and not (but right next to) the office garage, and hence they followed the floor numbering scheme of the podium rather than the office tower garage. Their vestibule on the upper ground floor was actually located right next to J Club, offering members convenient access, while those attending events at the ballroom were supposed to head to the hotel lobby on the same floor via the connected retail boulevard and access the ballroom using the escalators in the lobby―a bit tedious but perhaps the best option considering the placement of the buildings within the Emirates Towers complex. They were Mitsubishi's roped hydraulic units with a similar cab design and same set of fixtures as the boulevard's basement parking elevators and office tower garage elevators, but with larger cabs to handle a potentially heavy amount of traffic should a major event be held at the hotel ballroom. Compared to the parking elevators at the retail boulevard, they ran faster at 0.75m/s or 150 feet per minute (which was also the same speed as the office tower garage elevators), perhaps due to traveling a longer distance. One of the two cars had an additional landing on the lower ground floor, which was also displayed on the floor indicator but had been disabled due to it opening right into a shop there, while the other car only served the basement parking and the upper ground floor, and was consistent in displaying the cross-out ("✕") symbol while traveling between the two landings as with the elevators in the towers themselves. (It is notable case in that it is very uncommon to see an express zone symbol in a hydraulic elevator, let alone in a Mitsubishi installation with digital indicators.) They ran very well as with the other elevators within the retail podium (though the faster speed meant that the bump felt when stopping and starting was somewhat more pronounced), with the cabs being maintained quite clean, though the car featured in this video had a few dead pixels on the floor indicator.
