It has floor passing chime use in Mitsubishi Hydraulics too! I wish Mitsubishi Hydraulics Lifts in USA has floor passing chimes and hall chimes like in Tractions

These weren’t modernised in 2000. I’m not sure if you got the year via hearsay from other lift enthusiasts. But a discussion forum about this hotel and construction website confirms that the mod took place in 2002-2003.

In fact almost nobody in Singapore wanted these Korean OTIS elevators outside of HDB due to Sigma's poor maintenance.

Meanwhile in Singapore this kind of Korean OTIS also known as Sigma normally uses boring Dewhurst or Everbright buttons and hardly any of them use their own buttons other than a bunch of HDB installations that use them in blue instead of the usual red, and they often tend to break down because of how badly maintained they are. It's a good thing the ones in South Korea are still well maintained up till now.

Actually the manufacturer is OTIS Elevator Korea, Sigma is just their brand for overseas markets.
