She should’ve told him, I’m glad they didn’t get married. Because Christina would’ve hurt Burke in the long run. He wanted a family, and she didn’t. She wanted become Cardiothoracic Surgeon but more than him. He was in love with her, you could tell. But Christina just did it to please him. 🤦🏾‍♀️

First of all, if Christina didn't want children she shouldve worn birth control. They were having sex like rabbits. They are doctors. They shouldve known that she would eventually get pregnant. All it takes it one time. Second, her having an abortion was a good idea because even though she was willing to marry Preston the marriage wouldnt have lasted. Christina has told Preston that their only connection is medicine. He's the one that loves her for her where she loves Preston Burke the surgeon not the man. As much as I love Christina, she isn't the relationship/marriage type. She is a surgical junkie. That's all she wants to do and be. She don't want to be tied down to be someone's wife and mother. Her and Meredith are so different when it comes to that but they seem to get along just fine.

I'm pretty sure she used birth control. She's a doctor, she definitely knows to do that. Though as an intern i imagine it's harder to be regular with the pill, but regardless, in Grey's anatomy or in any TV show, I'm pretty sure birth control doesn't work nearly as well as it does irl. Edit to add: Also, even if she weren't using it, getting an abortion is her call. Babies shouldn't be punishments for having sex. They deserve to be had when they're wanted

That's not fair. Birth control isn't 100%. My mother was on every birth control known to man and still had 6 kids.
