@GrahamSiggins5 жыл бұрын
The amount of stuff to memorize for this is about equal to 20 3x3s, however the tracing for this is mostly center pieces which are a lot more confusing and therefore slower to trace than a 3x3. Also, the execution on this is a lot more difficult than 20 3x3s. This is really just not comparable to 20 3x3s at all besides the amount of stuff there is to memorize. I could safety a 20/20 mbld in probably 18 minutes, maybe less

Great job Graham!👍 What is the biggest cube you ever blind solved if you gave yourself infinite time? I think right now the record is 11BLD.
@GrahamSiggins5 жыл бұрын
Are you asking the biggest I've ever done? or the biggest that I ever could do? Biggest I've done successfully is 9BLD, and I've missed 10BLD by 2 wings on one attempt. I *could* do any size cube blind given infinite time. I just wouldn't. The question you're asking is quite analogous to when a non-cuber asks you what the biggest cube you could solve (not blind) is. You *can* solve any sized cube, it's just the bigger it gets, the more ridiculous it is and not worth the time because it's not even fun anymore

@christianmontoya32565 жыл бұрын

@ChrisChoi1235 жыл бұрын
@@GrahamSiggins to access ubl you have to do the S slice thats in the back (not sure how thats notated) compared to the more "front" s slice for ufr. depending on how you execute slices, you have to do more B moves compared to F moves for ufr. Now, Im really not that familiar with bigbld compared to you, so im probably making a ton of assumptions here (which is the worst thing to do if i want to be a physicist). for UL i guess it might be better than UF because you do S moves to access it which is better than M moves (at least for 3bld and in my opinion).
