這個歌集我中秋時就已經在準備，打算感恩節聚餐時播放。怎料從香港回到溫哥華後就生病了，可能是因為溫差太大。幸好北極光來臨，我在QE公園吹了吹風，精神才逐漸好起來。結果感恩節那天，我只隨便烤了隻雞和焗了個蛋糕。不過也沒關係，內心平靜、思想自由，便已足夠 :) (唔緊要啦，仲有萬聖節嘅，哈哈！）
單數的是 Ethelwyn Wetherald 的《感恩盛宴》，雙數的是 Bliss Carman 的《蘋果熟了》。每六首歌中間夾有一首 Charles G. D. Roberts 的《馬鈴秋收》，有薯仔菜色那首就是。和這個頻道的其他歌集一樣，每一首歌都各有不同，希望為你的假日增添好心情!
I started creating these songs during the Mid-Autumn Festival, planning to play them at our Thanksgiving dinner. But after returning to Vancouver from Hong Kong, I got sick-maybe it was the temperature difference. Thankfully, the northern lights showed up, and a walk in QE Park helped clear my mind and made me feel better. In the end, I just roasted a chicken and baked a cake for Thanksgiving, but it’s all good. Inner peace and free thoughts are more than enough for me :) (It’s okay. Halloween is coming!)
The odd-numbered songs are Ethelwyn Wetherald's “A Thanksgiving Feast”,and the even-numbered ones are Bliss Carman's “In Apple Time”. Every six songs feature one Charles G. D. Roberts' “The Potato Harvest”, the one with a potato dish. Like the other playlists on this channel, each song is unique, and I hope they bring a touch of joy to your holiday!
