DUDe!!!!! So i swapped my TB for a celica gt-s out of a pick n pull. Swapped springs like you said to do. Kept the stock celica iacv on it. Put it on my car and BOOM, Bang, she purrss. Runs perfecto!! The old one when held up to light, had gaps of light around flap. i HAD high idle and check eng light. Now nothing, no codes. So THANK YOU. I can get it smoged, even tho its late lol. YOUR THE Best. Maybe i should go grab that gt-s engine too. I have an 2005 corolla xrs. only 160k on her.

Great video it reminds me of when I bought mine and exactly the same thing the person must have cleared out the codes but the thing that sold me on it was it had a brand new clutch with paperwork and that's the only reason I bought it. And once I found out what it needed was the secondary air injection pump and the secondary air injection valve and those were so rare I actually found one in Russia... Yes Russia. But before I bought it I found one in Texas because they don't make that part anymore and a dealership actually still had them. So I bought both parts which cost me probably around $500 and have my mechanic install them in the car has been running ever since like a top I don't want to get rid of it but I have too many cars so it's like just on my mind to get rid of it but I still have it. It's a great car I would definitely recommend it but you have to make sure you have the parts for that car because they're very rare

I literally bought a trunk lid from a 9th gen corolla with the same paint code that had no spoiler, stripped the badges off, and put the badges from the original lid on the new one to do a spoiler delete. Not the cleanest job, I essentially traded nubs on the top for visible paint (clear coat?) defect under the badges that I glued on myself with some sort of automotive adhesive. Was lazy and just bought new headlight housings too. Other than a different shift knob, she stock. You think they'll appreciate in value? Scotty Kilmer does and I'm not sure I see it

Have a 2006 XRS. The car is in excellent condition! Always waxed and washed. Well never sell the car. In my collection with my rare C5 Corvette.
