I think you chat misunderstood the Archon Quests thingy. Inazuma Act 1 and 2 came out on 2.0 and the last Act on 2.1. In Sumeru we are getting Act 1 and Act 2 in 3.0 and we are gonna get more in 3.1 AND 3.2. And from the trailer it seems that these first two acts are already jam packed with a lot of hype story and so I can't wait for the upcoming ones in the later versions!

@@aleynawastaken yeah and to me it seems like 3.0 is gonna be about the Inner Conflict of Sumeru Forest, then maybe 3.1 about the Desert Area and then 3.2 for Fatui stuff. It is spaced out enough and will even utilize a huge chunk of the Sumeru map so it will be fun to see the story play out!

To be honest, I'm glad they don't release the whole region right away, because there are people like me who don't have as much free time to explore new territories at once. They did the same with Inazuma, which is very convenient and also right from a marketing point of view, so people can stay hyped for longer

Do you think the reason Kusanali got called lesser lord because some people used it as degrading at first? Looking down at the "new" archon, because they couldn't even reach the same length as the original one. I'm guessing some people didn't know about that instead they thought she was called that way since she was a very young god/archon. The insecurities of being not good enough and the inexperience compared to the other new god. Ei could manage but her form of coping was harmful of course but she could manage since she saw her sister rule over Inazuma back then. Kusanali on the other hand is the youngest amongst the new gods, and if the theory of her being be the reincarnation of the fallen or former archon, the amount of weight of knowing that you are the reincarnation of the said fallen god but you can't even surpass them like you were supposed to which led to the point that some of her people look down upon her. The amount of pressure that is for a young inexperienced child that became an Archon, the Fatui and the Abyss would never miss the opportunity as good as this. A lot of adults in Sumeru does not dream, if she is the goddess of dreams based on the 2.8 Archipelago event quest, the mirages were also related to her as well. Her people wants "knowledge" but that isn't her domain of expertise, "Knowledge" is not the same as "Wisdom" after all. This a little discussion a friend of mine both made during the livetsream, the "theorist mode" activated when we watched the trailer. Can't wait for the Archon quest! Absolute hype!

LET’S GOOOOOO OMG. As a florist, seeing all of the floral and plant elements included in this first half of Sumeru has my heart singing. The weapon and environmental designs are so so so gorgeous, pretty sure I was close to tears at certain points. I’m especially feeling a special kind of way with all of the art nouveau inspired architecture. For people who found all the Dendro reactions confusing, here's your summary (from what I understood): Dendro+Hydro=creates a seed that exists for some time. Only a set number of seeds can exist at the same time. Try to create more, or if the seed expires -> Dendro dmg explosion. Seed+Pyro=bigger explosion, still Dendro dmg. Seed+Electro=a homing projectile. An enemy affected by Dendro+Electro=twitchy twitchy (the small yellowish shocks). Makes next Dendro or Electro attack against said enemy stronger.

@@whistlegirl5726 Yes they will. But I think only 4-5 seeds exist but letting the seed blow by themselves is not much useful better use electro or pyro to trigger the seed for Burgeon or Hyperbloom. Thoma can be good in Burgeon and Kuki in Hyperbloom. This is just early speculation ofcourse. Also Tighnari isn't good in Bloom teams from beta. Looks like Quicken and Spread will be be better as applying dendro on quickened enemies will increase his dendro damage(spread reaction)

This is the first time the archon chapter is divided into 3 parts, in Liyue we got the first 2 acts on 1.0 and in 1.1 we got the last act, same with Inazuma in 2.0 we got the first 2 acts and in 2.1 we got the final act. Which is why so many people complained about pacing in Inazuma I imagine so maybe this new approach will help.

it's a much better experience hanging out with others watching the livestreams yeah. back when the 2.0 livestream happened, i saw many nasty insults and racist comments in the live chat directed at the staff so i'm not surprised they used emote mode on the official channel. some people sure do like to just sit there and spam "it's boring" "get to the codes, i don't care too much talking" but well there's plenty of us who appreciate the devs talking about the content to drown them out.

It's really cool that we seem to be getting 4 acts for Sumeru's story instead of 3. They said we'll get Acts 1 and 2 in Version 3.0, but the story will come out across 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2, so that seems to mean we'll get at least 4 acts. God I'm so happy this stuff is all out in the open now to discuss. I am a big fan of character leaks, and really anything that isn't story related. Hate it if you want, but it's incredibly important information to give to players as soon as possible in a Gacha game imo. That being said, the leaks absolutely got out of control for Sumeru and it's unfortunate that so many people who didn't want to see the characters were exposed to them months earlier than intended because of it. Hopefully Hoyoverse will continue to do teaser trailers more frequently to mitigate this happening in the future, or at the very least do the drip marketing for characters BEFORE they go onto the beta servers.

That trailer was INSANE. I loved every second of it. This program just made me more excited for Sumeru. Much like you, this will be my first major Archon Quest update that introduces a new region, and that makes me super duper excited! This will be an unforgettable experience! That music section…oh god…I was in tears…AND THOSE WERE ONLY TWO OST’S! I cannot wait to see what this region has in store for us. From the new story and region all the way to the music and beautiful sceneries, I believe this will be my best experience with Genshin Impact. The pause and the music drop starting from 49:23 is hitting me hard! It is Golden! Like listening to it I was imagining sumeru’s enemies awaiting on the other-side of the battlefield watching the big golden chariots and war elephants 🐘 of sumeru marching to the war zone, bulky but fast paced; and then when the pause hit at 49:46 it was like the enemies thought that’s all they would have to deal with but when music drop again, they started seeing millions and millions of war horses being revealed from the shadows which the sun had casted on their big sized war allies. These warriors on horses, not as threatening in size but in numbers and speed. In the blink of an eye, had infiltrated the zones like an insect infestation. I love it.

Dendro reactions in razor language Dendro + hydro = bloom (seed things) - dendro + hydro * pyro = burgeon (seed explodes with good aoe) or in simple words: Burgeon = dendro version of overload Electro + dendro = quicken - electro + dendro + electro = spread - dendro + electro + dendro = aggravate (Basically for the electro reactions the element with the most usage does more damage) I probably got most of the names mixed up so apologies

The antagonist's laugh sounds seriously... evil, and insane. Definitely get the feeling they'll be extremely powerful. Maybe we do get back the powers in a limited amount, but have to use it all up to protect ourselves?

Im inlove of this game actually ever since its release ive loved it every second of it and im glad i played since launch didnt expect much but damn i am gratefull playing this game

i'm really hyped for sumeru cause i'm from the middle east so its feel like home but the most interesting is the music the use of different instruments from arabic instrument to turkish to even indian instruments the tune is mostly arabic tune but the use of the different instruments result to a really beautiful music this is really art at its finest
