$95 a year for app features after paying $3k...that is crazy. Definitely a rich person toy.

It seems like the fee is only for additional features, not the standard ones. It seems like the standard ones are included, and even those are numerous.

At minute 3:22, second to last row, rightmost element - is this a hardware error? How can it show orange and red at the same time?
@mbk_r9 ай бұрын
It's not an error. Each bit has to have 2 "flaps" of the same color - otherwise it would not be possible to show a bit in a single color (like the rest on the board at that time stamp). It most likely skipped to the next position hence red bottom and yellow upper part. Was this skip intentional - I don't know, someone with vestaboard app would have to find this picture and tell us how it was supposed to look.

This reads like super cringy sponsored content. 1:27 - 1:45 "I'm about to send the cutest message on the Destaboard(?) [sic] Let's see it in action!" *split-flap display changes* "Look at it go!" *LOVE YOU* "Tell me that's not so sweet!" To be clear, no hate to the person hired for this. But I am confused about whether or not Tom's Guide received a sponsorship to speak highly regarding this device. Because this doesn't sound at all like the honest descriptions of a real person. While the latter half of the review does read a bit more critical of the Vestaboard, the addition of a subscription fee at this price point is absolutely mindboggling. I sincerely want to 3D print this device myself and sell it on Etsy for a fifth the price.
