We need leaders like u, these days, in more arena’s than this but first things first, later thangs, later. The “..Like someone broke in..” analogy, made the feeling even more, deeply relatable, & I like that body wave made after “..the crib” statement lol reminiscent of the Providence.. that I don’t know, if they know, that’s tucked gracefully, withIN you 😊 (🤫 tiny tip: So, don’t sleep on this genuinely nice guy & mistaken him 4 some schmuck, there’s BITE, in COOLey.. if u want some lol) Indeed, u have ALWAYS been a class act, & quick 2 take your lumps too, but I DEFINITELY.. would NEVER… in a MILLION years &/or lifetimes, be able to put ED COOLEY (w/ or w/OUT titles) in ANY such category that would describe you as, a “sorry..” ANYTHING, anyTIME, or anyHOW! Not sure WHO you are comparing yourself to, but if it’s not God Himself.. you are miles above the rest, in all that you come from & had 2 slice, (seemingly) like butter through. Now, that my own Dad has passed, u r the bravest, most amazing guy I know. & because of him, lol I’m pretty hard on most guys 😁 so, that don’t come easy from ME lol U r an, AGAINST the odds SLAYER, Coach Cooley! You have an almost POETIC, laser-focus, & inner knowing/movement through life, that carves a sweet path, through what others see as obstacles, & one way or another, reaches places, even u may b shocked, u reached. In my minds eye, you play a mean game of LIFE.. & u always win (even if not in your eyes, just ask anyone else 😉) I’m not sure if YOU see how much so, or even care or pay attention, particularly, when u have something heavy on your plate & y’all in BEAST mode out there but.. Your entire life proves it, & u got plenty more sweet surprises ahead of u! It LITERALLY.. HURTTT me, in a rather unfamiliar way (& not in a dismissible one, either) to hear that. So now, I’m here, spilling my guts out in this small book 📖 I’m posting, where I can only HOPE, one day, u may c this & somehow, it will hit u where it counts lol. You r tougher on U, than anyone else. That game was something else.. riveting. X, already a stand up team, picked up a lot, in losing the games they loss, including the one with friars & there’s a lot friars can pick up from this last gift of a meet, & I know they will. A pound of perspective & a pound of par 4 course.. building blocks 🧱 along the way 2 your ultimate destiny. Rungs 🪜 on the ladder, 2 the NEXT levels uP! & the whole ENTIRE world knows, you’ll figure out, what needs 2 b figured out.. u ALWAYS have, & cracked some new glass ceilings, along the way. U r MIGHTILY loved, MIGHTILY revered, MIGHTILY favored. FRIAR guys have been worked & it’s only IRON that can SHARPEN IRON. They STILL shining✨ STILL FIERCE FORCES 2 b reckoned with, & 4EVER etched in time as those glowing, growing, hard working class acts, you have helped develop them to be. Words can’t express how impressive you are & one thing we know that your guys know, & anyone who captures you knows is, that u TRULY, from the depths of your soul, BELIEVE in THEM & many MIRACULOUS things HAPPEN, when we BELIEVE. It truly DOES unlock superpowers. SO, while u still remain realistic with us about all the odds & etc’s, u never waiver in your profound BELIEF in the talents, skills, & abilities amongst you so, I just thought you might want to “hear” just how much you’re wholeheartedly BELIEVED in, too! Probably heard 4 the gazillionth time, but to me, it can never be said enough. All the love my heart is capable of (which is a RIDICULOUSLY LOT 😊 lol) I send out to you & the Friars Fam.. UNCONDITIONALLY ❤️
