I thought you would wait for the Pittsburgh job which will reappear next year, I think. But Xavier and the Big East will be better. Good luck! The NCAA forever investigation at Arizona is/was unjust. You ultimately will be cleared. You will always be respected and missed at Arizona and the wild PAC12 tourney in Vegas.

Hopefully he learns how to execute against a zone defense… we’ll see how this turns out but seems like he’s just using Xavier to get back into coaching… he’ll leave them again once another major school is willing to give him a shot.

You're right about zone defense. But I would say he's probably not going anywhere. You gotta consider that at this point he doesn't need to chase the biggest paycheck. But the bigger factor is that since Xavier in now in the big east, its like once you're in a power conference you can be big anywhere.

I agree the only knock I have on miller was he always struggled against the Zone defense hopefully he can overcome that and take Xavier basketball far

For the past 40 years every coach Xavier has had has left to go to a bigger program after having success at Xavier (Staak, Gillen, Prosser, Matta, Miller, Mack), until Travis Steele. But with Xavier now in the Big East, the grass might not be quite as green elsewhere. I know Chris Mack left Xavier in part because his wife is from Louisville and her family is there, but from a coaching perspective I wonder if he wishes he were still at Xavier.
