Tom Dwan is an animal, and the fact so many people kind of write him off as old school and no longer one of the best cash poker players is so confusing. This guy puts himself in some of the most awkward spots imaginable, and consistently navigates them safely. I can't say he always makes the correct, consistent game theory optimal play (i'm very new to that, so to analyze positions there are smarter people than me), but he makes the right play more than he makes the wrong one, especially in the largest pots.

yeah he is basically repping aces or kings - its so deep stacks that you cant really just assume he is bluffing a paired flop like this - he knew Dwan had QQ or lower and its really hard to call with QQ, impossible to call with anything lower - Its actually a good bluff. He could only have 10/10, JJ, QQ, KK, AA. and most people would fold 3 out of these 5 combinations.

Tom Dwan, no surprise, what a call! I’m sure he has played bigger pots, but not televised. For him it is just another day, but that really felt special for him. It was the bet on the flop that didn't make sense,if Wesley had aces he would check the flop aswel to draw a bet from Tom on the turn.some call by Tom with the queen's though because a bet with Kings on the flop would have made sense on such a dry board
@kory6897 Жыл бұрын

If you leave Doug’s reaction out it’s a simple 3 barrel. Most of the time that’s the classic out bluffer move crowned by the all in at the river. With AA you try to extract the most you can and protect your hand. So you leave the betting to the opponent and react to it.
