I think you need a special category for support, which would push AG and Spectres off the S/A spots as they are not really the main source of damage or playstyle.

I mean, ive run skeleton archer bleeder the whole league. Im 98 lvl rn and i can do pretty much all content. Simulacrum last wave might take a portal or 2, But thats about it. Super cheap to start and you can min max it cheaper and easier than any single other build

As someone who has been playing Dancing Duo for ten (soon to be eleven) leagues straight I would of course disagree about its effectiveness for bossing, but I do know it's a meme as far as minions go and doesn't scale as well. Maybe you just need to try it again =P

Host/Carnage chieftains: sometimes generating power/frenzy charge in small area, They of tul: make swirly zone with some form of avoidance in there, Arena master: I think they grant aoe pseudo-onslaught that stacks with normal onslaught, Demon harpies: they scream and debuff enemis in a cone with stacking "increase physical damage taken" effect.

I'll say make animate guardian SSS++max pro plus, it's so good that certain non-minion builds has 1-3 sockets to spare they should just use AG, prbly a cheaper version since those builds can't guarantee AG to live thru everything, just kingmaker and victario's flight two items will make a lot of build 15-30% better, that's like an extra link's power. And zombies I think should be higher, two things zombies have others don't, from the sceptre you get explosion, which is way easier than using explosion glove or chest, the other is life leech from the baron, that alone is a great defense.

Animated Guardian is amazing because of what it provides. I hate everything else about it. It has eaten my gear several times. Not because I died, but playing around with my skill tree or swapping gear around broke skill gem level thresholds I needed.

The main reason I have NEVER played a minion build is because I just don't want to fuck around with losing gear. Like if I wanted to suffer while playing PoE I'd have been playing hardcore.

I'd move zombos up into the S tier boss. The strength stacking zombie builds with decent investment are able to pull off 26k ES + hp, 300 million dps, or some crazy hybrid of both. On standard zombomancers are running around with even crazier numbers and over 200% movespeed. Top-tier all round build, I even used it to clear the hall of the grandmasters a few times with some patience and a pre - 3.16 aruabot.

Show me a PoB without standard or legacy gear that can reach 26k ES/Life with 300mil sDPS using Zombies as the main source of damage and I will be more than happy to move the Zombies to higher than S tier. What you're talking about is not remotely possible in the current state of the game. For reference, Mage Skellies are currently the top tier minion build in the game and in a pure glass cannon version we were able to squeeze out 142mil sDPS and that's being a glass cannon and the build was done in Scourge 3.16 league being priced at around 1500 Exalted Orbs.

Soulwrest isn’t played cause things got changed around with EE, it’s hard to scale their phys damage so most people convert to cold. People prob saw that as a turn off but then the scaling of the new 12 passive minion clusters that are used for arakali’s and the masteries, def something to test

Surprised you didn't mention anything about the bad QoL of skeletons. I've been playing it in the Deli Event recently. Yeah it's got good DPS but the clear is kinda meh. It's also hardly a minion build imo, it's more similar to totems. You have to put down new skeletons every pack because they have atrocious AI. A big draw of minion builds for me personally is super chill gameplay, skeletons feels like I'm just playing a caster.

Played Soulwrest the whole league, did everything on it on a like 5 ex budget. I think the only downside to it is that u cant scale it up to the high dmg numbers that golem / mage skellies have. But i love to play it and hope it gets more popular in 3.17

@@FiercedWoW with 3.16 they triple (the most important one is not listed on the 3.16 list) nerfed impending doom even though we were a very very few (I guess less than 20) to use it the right way and even thought it was capped a 2M max. It was a formidable starter but Chris put it into oblivion instead of just correcting it.

@@AtlantisArch Thats because you probably looked at it the wrong way. Impending doom was used to scale ignites if I remember correctly, and thats what it was nerfed for. not because of the way those 20 people were scaling it.

@@FiercedWoW well, that was NOT mentionned by GGG whatsoever. We played plainly according to description, scaling decay dot. It was capped, not really doing Sirius but anything below, nothing outraging. It was noob friendly. It made me back after 2 leagues skipping the game, just 1 week before 3.16 (was playing since legacy before, with years of ssf), but even after having my HH this league (with another build, expensive), I'm definitely looking to go away to other games because even the ignite reason is not plausible, old impending doom couln't make current ignite OP. Just mentioning that they nerf things without even them beeing popular neither OP. And I would add that even if last league did trigger some business issue, they still didn't change mandatory things. Thousands of description issues not corrected. Complexifying the game without any need. QoL new features poor AND buggy. Feedback of community still ignored/censored. Business model still limited. Graphical vomit still improving ... And OS out of space, summary of ziz league was a relief, to see it happening to top streamers too, the most unfair game ever lol. They did though correct a lot of buffering issues, without bragging it and both are great. But that won't make me stick to the game.

It doesn't have the minion tag and I don't think the mirage warriors are affected by minion stats.

Ghazzy, why Dark Pact is that strong and only 0,1% of players are playing it? Its a gameplay prefference, maybe? Edit: In future, if I dont know if Skellies would be strong or not on 3.17, Dark Pact looks as a safe choice Edit2: Does DP works with HH?

i don't know about other ppl but having to summon skeletons and use dp seems so clunky. I did see a coc dp build and that seemed nice but I'm guessing that's going to take anywhere from mid to high investment.

@@user-77796 I agree. I tried it and felt that the play style was a bit awkward. It was the same for Big Duck's ball lightning caster with that fucking mana flask you had to spam and time right constantly. Too much like hard work.

Spectres are S+ tier hands down. The amount of spectres can make even the same minion builds diverse , there are many many spectres which buff allies or cast protective bubble to defend the necro herself, cast curses etc etc. They have bigger impact of the build than the animate guardian as having 3 or 4 different role spectres in your army. There is not a single summoner build that's not using spectres really. Dancing Duo To Ghazzy: They see me rollin' they hatin'.
