Summon skeletons + infernal legion + elemental army is quite good combo. And Vaal Summon skeletons is more effective compared to other Vaal Gems. Additional support gems could be minion speed, fire penetration, increased duration (if fire res maxed out).

I played raise zombie in ritual as a 2nd character, and had decent clear like you said as srs or skeletons, but I did a popcorn button for bosses, swap my belt to umbilicus and used the flask that drops your hp to 1 and regens the lost HP as ES, which was instead used by the zombies, and caused them to go nuclear. The hit of army of zombies killed Everything, and if it didn't on harder bosses, the ignite definitely did.

I made an occultilst this league and its clear is much better with profane bloom exploding everything. I played your syndicate operative spectre build also in ritual and it was awesome! What do you think about AW summoned with a trigger-bow utilizing Asenath‘s for support spells? I know, sacrificing a bunch of top tier minion item slots but the automation might be worth it as AW can be so clunky otherwise. I love the AWs once they are summoned but instance travelling is a chore. My tier list comes from a SSF SC perspective. Only listing the skills I played! S: Raise Spectre (incredible at everything, even utility in any minion build I played) A: Animate Guardian (Used it in every single minion build as well, not as versatile as Spectres) B: Animated Weapon (Fast and aggressive but time-consuming to summon), Carrion Golem (Only used for utility so far, jewels aren‘t that easy to come by) C: Raise Zombie (Alright meat shield, otherwise not great at anything in comparison to higher tiers), Summon Skeletons (Played a bomber build, it was fun! Also slow clear but great flavor) D: BAMA (amassed a bunch of gear for an aurastacking BAMA build this league but it wasn‘t fun to play for me after the novelty of multiplying MTX wore off) Not played: everything else I did use golems as supports on an Elementalist but this tier list is for dedicated minion builds so they don‘t count.

Vaal Summon Skeleton is my favorite button in the game. The clear is not bad with melee splash and feeding freenzy, but like you said with the Lich Queen build, I usually run spectres for clear and SS/VSS single target. I love golem builds too. Everything else would be below that.

Zombies with Montregul's is still imo one of the absolute best ways to start a minion build. Absolutely no budget at all can take everything up to A8 Sirus EXTREMELY comfortably. Mapping feels REAL nice because they just pop pack after pack. I would definitely consider transitioning into something like spectres after your basically free build gives you enough currency to do so comfortably.

Spectres on the same budged do it better in every aspect, no investment like zombies, so what are you talking about? :-D Also mapping is better without montreguls because you half the zombie number you can summon! ^^ Makes actually zero sense to use it, because a minion dmg one handed weapon with a shield for defense or another 1 handed weapon to double dip dps if you know how to play a glasscannon build ofc(PoE micro mechanic master), with anything extra lucky mods on it(minion res, minion movespeed, minion as cast speed) is by a mile better. :-D and no it does not cost you a penny its solo self found, just alch, essence craft or even chaos spam it(whatever currency you wanna spend/have at the moment) until you hit something. you get a decent outcome in less than 10 trys, even if you are unlucky. what i recommend for you to use is a earendels embrace up to 40% minion dmg + up to 30 all attributes(fucking perfect for getting your gem levels) before you reach maps and can get convoking wands to drop and craft on. you could also use a queens decree/escape with 4/5 sockets/links. those are still better than montreguls even if you give up a itemslot on the 2handed weapon. montreguls gives dmg yes, but you are halving your dmg dealers? good joke sir! :-P it was always been used for the defensive stats wich is not needed anymore since all the easy accessible resist and life/liferegen nodes added to the tree. your zombies stop dying after you reached sacrifice and they get unkillable when you use bone offering and a minion resist/regen focussed leveling tree. so you see theres no need for montreguls anymore and yes i know the explosion, but you still half your zombies wich results in the same clearspeed and ways less dps(on bosses especially) + youre less tanky without your horde meatshield blocking projectiles and monsters getting to you! ;-)

This was fun thanks Ghazzy! Im definitely one of those that wouldve loved to see where you put some of the non-skill minions. Theyve really dropped off over the years unfortunately, but hope GGG gives them some love in the future. Dancing Duo was probably my most favorite minion build beside spectres, heres hoping we get dancing trios in the future! I think DD, Spiders, Spectral Wolves, Insanity SRS would be cool to add to this list. Maybe split out some of the golems? (Flame, Ice, Lightning need some love). Also an idea for a future video: if you could design your own minion skill what would you like to see?

I lover spiders and I know that they aren't S tier, their dps ceiling is relative low and the need to recast them. But they can do over 24M citrus dps. i looking at his tier list he will place them at C. Spectral wolves are almost useless. I would love a dagger/claw that the socketed gems affects the other weapon minions. That could make the wolves viable.

OK...I liked the video. We are six weeks in to this league, and I have seen exactly 1 raw exalt drop. That's with one character in the low 90's and two in the 80's. So I am depending on that like to rain exalts on me, because the POE RNG gods hate me! Great content!

Nice! Tier lists are super fun to do and watch imo. I'd put Dom Blow and HoP quite a bit higher in my personal list. It is just ridiculous how little gear you need on them to get to T16s and do Conquerors and Sirus. As you mentioned S tier league starters for sure.

I've been running a herald of spooder build for like two weeks this league. I went with an offensive approach as necro pushing virulence up to 70. After you hit the break point at gem level 31 (1% extra speed per stack) the build really picks up. It was pulling 40mil consistent sdps with plenty of room for improvements. All a matter of preference but below holy relic? Why u bulli spooder.

don’t sleep on dominating blow. it’s not the greatest for bossing but map clearing is explosive and you can achieve an easy 3M dps with minimal gear

There's a niche Wormblaster Dark Pact Skeleton occultist build being played right now, it's extremely niche and actually requires some fairly heavy investment to be worth it. Fun though. I'd say it's at least 65ex minimum investment to really feel good.

Well if you're able to apply 1 curse and you do, and your spectres apply 1 curse they will overwrite one another. If you're able to apply 2 curses then you can apply 1 on top of the curse applied by your spectres since you're in fact able to put 2 curses on an enemy.

as someone who has built hoag a lot and done a bunch of variants i sadly have to agree. It is a very solid skill with proper investment but youre likely better off spending the same currency on anything else. I just play it because i think it is fun, but realistically it can not boss well until about gem level 27 (empower skin of the loyal and a +1 wand). Also keeping virulence up on some bosses is very unfun(what you said about it being slow). It definitely feels fun to play with mana guardian but i think the ultimate downfall of the skill atm is the amount of specific uniques required to make it feel viable. I think it would feel better if they buffed the virulence cap by 5, or even reworked how it works.

Hoag is still my main bosser this league. I'd say the biggest break point is at gem level 31 that's when you get another 1% speed per stack. One big advantage hoag has is that it has a bunch of gem tags so it's fairly easy to scale gem level with multiple alternatives for various slots (dex, phys, chaos, spell and minion all work). I'm not sure what you are on about with the uniques. The only ones I'm using are grip of the council for chills and the lone messenger jewel cause I didn't wanna mess with auras and LL. Neither are mandatory.

Anything on S-tier is getting nerfed, calling it. If you get attached to builds easily, I suggest you avoid them unless you use them as support.

Synth herald of agony - s tier. Currently version is z tier. old baron zombies with es shield spam - S tier currently d tier. Tried out my 600ex one and can't do 14 maps without dozens of resummons. Golems - A tier. I mean they are s tier but I've played it so much and getting tired of pure phys scaling so it is down one in my book lol Spectres - S tier. However I can't stand getting a +1 spectra chest and having that be the only right option that I dislike playing it. At least we have a shit version of harvest added into the game to help. Animated guardian - B. Because I can't get one that fucking lives for shit. 4-5ex in gear and it dies to crit maps or sirus clouts and I just want to take the gem out and smash it on a rock. I haven't played any of the others and will likely not because non of them seem as good or as fun as the other stuff. Kind of the problem with poe the meta gems are only generally the best scaling but they also have the best play style. Do want to try don blow as a league start tho we shell see. Ps: not sure if you will be doing the gauntlet but would be nice if you had any good build ideas on playing a minion build in it. I did frost auto scout guardian last time and got to yellow maps. It was a lot of fun but now that we have non of the spectres I like early I'm lost of what to play. Also scared of the nerf to they got this league do to all the extra damage mods. Re summoning mid map is lame.

So, I really enjoy some of your builds and I'm amazed at how much you know about minions in POE. I'm still a fairly new player in POE, start just a bit over a year ago in Metamorph league and I do enjoy the minion builds, I have played at least one every league and with some of them I've encountered smaller or bigger problems. In a perfect world, I would only play SSF but hence I do want to hit 24 or 36 challenges every league I usually play trade 5 - 6 weeks then move into SSF for a fresh start and here comes my essay about certain minions: SRS & skelletons are great starter builds and it's what I use to lvl up my chars untill i get the gear i need to switch to golems... and here's where I'm in the large minority because I believe stone golems are better than carrion golems. I have played both builds and I have done all the content with both and each of them have their ups and downs like carrion golems will get way better damage than stone golems but it's undenyable the more expensive build between the two and the golems die, and the AG dies, and the spectres die and it's so frustrating if it happens in a fight like The Maven (happened a few hours ago to me where the brain summoned the map boss that does discharge and he fuckin blew up everything, I only had 50 ES and 2 zombies left after one discharge lmao) where stone golems generally don't die due to being elemental imune, I can do Atziri with my stone golems (they resummon by themselves, QOL right there) but the downside to stone golems is that they're slower (the slam sucks compared to the AOE damage that carrions do). I could never increase my stone golems damage above 1.1m each so about 10 million and this was last league, before the small nerf they got... I would really love a more, in depth guide to stone golems and see what I'm missing because I can find people playing the build with insane damage and clear speed way above anything I get but only showcases, 1 - 2 min videos, never a guide and explanations on what they're doing to get there. Regarding the rest of the minions and their builds, I haven't played enough of them (or at all) so there's very little I can say with valid arguements about them. I remember ur spectre build in Harvest with veritania's archers was amazing but I was having so much fun trying other things and never went for it... I only tried the Slavedrivers once as damage spectre build but did it in SSF and I was so squishy that I gave up before i hit lvl 90 on that char.

I usually only play only standard so I always try to apply your content to my standard toons. I'm gonna join your channel, already subscribed and when I get stimulus going to full on join. Wondering if I can pay up for a yr. I think there is a lot I can learn from you. You are incredibly smart and I want to learn how to craft. Right now I'm pretty good with crafting jewels. You have so many videos it's a little overwhelming. I also need to get a good set of headphones so I can use discord to talk to you. The reason I want to pay up for a yr. Is I'm a house husband and don't actually make any money. Also, my necro right now uses a conglomeration of raise spectre x 4 synd.ops, raise zombie x 9, carrion x 3, 10 x skellies with vaal skellies x 36. I love this build but is a bit squishy. Other main skills are flesh offering and flame wall which has a decent dmg output of 77k dps roughly with 2ndary dps as the carrions with their projectiles reignite the mobs with. I like this feel. First of all 16:42 wtf is that FACE on the raise zombie gem?!?..that is gonna haunt me forever! And whilst I do agree that HoA can be extremely boring to play, holy moly is it "fun" in the fact that you can just do anything the games throw at you, more or less. Being max block and everything like that is just the magic on top. So in THAT regard I'd definitely put it way higher. Other than that, I personally don't feel Carrion Golems have that much slower clear speed than spectres, but then again, I only had about 30-40 ex investment into them in Heist league. I could still just pop flasks and run through every pack, and shit just died. Kind of like how you do with spectres (mind you, I didn't play Spectres in Heist, so they might be omegabusted as well BUT I have played my fair share of spectre builds through t he years)

Spent about 10 minutes looking for "Enemy Guardian" I find this guy's pronunciation really really difficult to understand. He is speaking so fast and slurring all his works and it is just this non stop monotone sound. Same with GOlem. Golden build? wat?
