2 million of us without electricity here in Houston right. People are running around without knowing what to do, and yes, America is so vulnerable. I'm glad my kids left 2 weeks ago. I had this feeling something was coming but i decided to stay because i do summer work, and this was supposed to be my last summer to make more money before i leave. I will tell you to be very cautious and strategic about going to East Africa in general. I and my family lived in Uganda and Kenya, and it was bittersweet. Immigration is a nightmare unless you're retirement age, have a business, or are married to an East African. Many do not give citizenship to children born there from immigrants, but Tanzania does so, I've heard. Just go not expecting anything and pray about everything.
