While I enjoy the juiciness of new mapping content and league mechanics over the past 7 years, I think 99% of players would agree there is too much loot in the game. I could have shown more loot on screen as I am only showing scarabs, cards, and currency in 1/2 size font.

People have been optimizing this game for ages now. And given the complexity and competitive nature of the trade leagues, people ask for more so ggg delivers. Pre-affliction patches were still moderate but it has skyrocketed after that

When we will have the strat to farm t17 maps, a lot of videos get the map equity wrong and i cant find a better way to do so.

Spend running T16 maps with back to basic in under 90 seconds gets you around 15 t17 maps per hour with 2 50% more map scarab.

Idk whats ur build is cappable of, but i farm shaper guardians with Domination scarab of terror and and scarab that makes every unique drop unique map and map duplication + normal shrine scarab. U spot shrine pickup shrine, kill unique monster and move on to the other shrine. Linear layout helps a lot. For me its more realistic strat than sweat rushing whole map + shrines makes u fast/immortal and if u can do maven inv u get easily 2 div profit per 4 map + inv from t17/guardian maps/maven invs.

This is what progress looks like. It's not that loot is too much, but the item pickup just hasn't been developed at all. We need autoloot and we need it soon

​@@Path_of_Chigurh honestly full autoloot is stupid but having something like metin2 has where you press a key and it picks up the items with some private servers having a loot filter aswell for the pickup would be nice... you would basically just pick up all of your loot filter items with a key instead of clicks and it could even be adjusted to pickup one item at a time or all items at key press... + if they introduced some of the features that last epoch has in loot filter imo it would literally fix this shit

also i personally dont think thats its an issue of too much loot but its an issue of not being able to filter specific things such as just show specific stats like last epoch has and also a issue of currency having too small stacks + not enough inventory slots especially if you are for example doing the scarab strategy and there is like 50 different scarabs it insta fills your inventory even without picking like 5% of the loot overall

T17s are broken, so thats prob most currency. For fun factor, I like doing 100% deli with Foreboding Delirium Orbs for chance at big mirror shard drop.

Stacking currency was the one of the best decisions they made to reduce the amount of clicks. now we have mobs shitting out scarabs, cards currency etc. the amount of clicking required both this and last league is just way too high. Idk gotta tighten up that filter, or one click loot

I feel like last league was more of an issue. Every map was comparable to this league's Manifested wealth. I had to block chaos orbs out of my loot filter because I was getting CTS from clicking them 200 times per map. I have not partaken in the rogue exile farm on t17 but that was another issue of not balancing a league mechanic properly.

@@oneoranota agree, both are problems. Content bloat and having so many clicks per map for looting just sucks. I think the scarab change will be good long-term but it really sucks to click so many and have so few that hold value worthy of picking up

If they wont nerf corpse skills to the ground next patch i will lose faith that they even care about balancing PoE1 anymore... also dot cap is so easy to achieve that u can build literally turtle mode with 4 defensive auras and divine blessing for utility and some powerful tanky amulets, every new league is some next level bullshit. But on the other hand they made very good scarab rework that im in shock tbh, very good Syndicate changes that made it relevant. Idk if im tripping or not, but i think that league mechanic made by team that is not rly into the game and general changes second team that rly knows the game. Im actually excited to play next league and i hope that they wont add any "juice" unless they nerf/remove MF.

Ive been playing since harbinger or so but the majority of that was ssf until crucible after skipping sentinel kalandra and sanctum after beta testing archnemesis. This large period in SSF prevented me from getting decent as gathering currency for trading till about two leagues ago and the irritating amount of meaningless bullshit that appears on the ground is basically always infuriating. I think you and I are playing a different game once we start getting into high investment mapping because I still dont like throwing scarabs on all my maps, but even so our different magnitudes of loot still have excess garbage for no reason. Why do i have to click on blight and expedition chests one by one and then all their drops one by one, why do i have to pick up splinters in clusters of 2? Why does the single mob drop 12 individual chaos instead of one stack? Ive recently moved walk to W because of all the clicking fucking my hand. Can we just get the warcries open chests on a mastery already? Im sick of pathing to a caster mastery on my marauder to play blighted maps.
