3.24 SSF Carrion Golem Zombies final POB is here!

Disclaimer this POB is for SSF and may change over time as we discover new tech, but as it stands this is the best I can make the build. There are a few trees, take your time to look around the POB. It is not very beginner friendly as there is significant gearing required to reach a reasonably comfortable state. If you are looking for a build that you can kill ubers in day 3 of SSF then just play DD. That being said, you can start them from day 1 like I have 3x now and if you are keen to try them please don't be afraid to as it is a very comfortable build once you get it online.
IMPORTANT: If you are planning on doing Ubers, t17 maps, or anything that is very likely to kill your Animate Guardian, do NOT swap your Ancient Suffering Spectre to a different one. Whilst it is theoretically better dps to have AG apply despair or temporal chains on hit, there are situations where you will not have him around and thus your damage will be SEVERELY lacking. This is why we use Ancient Suffering spectre, as it applies Temporal Chains as well has its own +1 additional curse.

Thank you for putting this out, I was a big fan of phys carrion before it got nerfed into oblivion. At the moment playing SRS in ssf but will definitely play around with your pob. Have you looked into the sis or uid sword instead of a wand? Survivability of the minions might get whack tho.

Hey Chrollos, I think I have seen you on POE Ninja! As for SIS or UID sword, I have looked into it and according to my calculations a +2 wand does end out being more damage

However it is not as simple as that, there are some factors to consider which might make the sword better in some scenarios. If you don't need chance to poison, you could go all in on dps ghastly jewels for example. The other issues is fitting in the Envy aura some how, we are already really tight on aura reservation as it is, but it is possible on the DPS set up. Also, the wither is already coming for free from necro ascendency

Also we have to consider that the wands allow us to get another spectre, and in some cases an additional zombie which is quite a lot of extra damage on its own. As it stands, poison zombies have much lower health than phys version, so you are right in we will have issues with their life. Also we can get attack speed on wand, which is really good for life leech

And finally, the sword is excellent for people who don't want to take this build to the extreme as it is quite easy to obtain

@@Cat_vs_Jad I usually went spell suppression and was scaling both armour and evasion with double wands but no block, 3 large 3/35 clusters with 5 medium iirc. It was pretty much a glass cannon, it could take a hit but as the dps went thru the roof it was rarely an issue since there was never anything on the screen that was alive lol. I think you are correct here, wand is probably the play for the levels and attack speed for both you and your minions. I guess a variant could be double wands with dual wield block, I've never tried that earlier.
