@@alexmurador Its VERY expensive. You have to reforge Speed or Reforge Chaos until you hit Suppression, then do a suffixes cant be changed -> reforge speed/chaos (the opposite of what you did first) to get the 3rd suffix. Then you suffix cannot be changed-> reforged life for life, craft on damage and redeemer slam for guaranteed ele dmg.

I think you're underestimating the power of tinctures, your example uses a very bad tincture, and they are very easy to roll (need t1 suffix, +35% effect, and 20% quality for 20% more effect on top of it). When you go for the tincture nodes and the clusters, they get even more insane. I'm doing a Flicker cold Warden that uses two tinctures, and they give me 51% penetration, 358% crit chance, 234% increased elemental damage and 64% increased attack speed, and they have 95%+ uptime. I gave the scorch node a try since my build also uses Heatshiver, but the tinctures greatly outshine it. Also, there is no ramp-up time compared to the need of stacking 16+ shocks to get the same damage, you get it all upfront.

I was thinking the same thing... Making this comparison with shock, while using a Tincture without craft... A good tincture can be just as good, 100% effect of shock ( with ascendancy + tree points ) ... without having to lose 4link to be able to stack

@@korpdani on my flicker build I just need the 4 points near the the reduced mana cost for attacks, 3 for the cluster and one for the 12 mana burn mastery. That along with the warden node is enough to play tinctures with near permanent uptime. If you can fit the tincture effect cluster near charisma it is really good dps too if your tinctures are well rolled.

I downed first 2 voidstones with a white wind, tabula, and no dmg aura because of tinctures lol.. BUT, I ultimately don't want them in my build. It is too clunk for mapping.. you can't just not look at the flask bar.. if you hit your tinctures while active, you put them on CD with no lingering effects.. if you hit them just before they come off CD, you'll think they're up then fly into a pack missing half your dps and 20% attack speed.. as a starter for progressing.. I really enjoy active builds like that.. but when I'm finally into "veg out and map," I just want my build to work on its own tbh... Tl;dr Tinctures are disgustingly OP.. but I don't blame anyone for not wanting to use them.

5:42 the reason i dropped the build right here, even with capped defenses, everything possible and terrible hp, you die out of nowhere, get used to it if you want to play this. Switched to a ll coc cyclone, 8k ES, melting trought T17, just holding rmb and going, this build right here is too annoying, never saw something this squishy

I've been using fury valve all league and I'd say herald of ice really isn't needed with it. I put in flesh and stone to get that extra 20% reduced damage to enemies in close range and it significantly improves the defense with fortify and CWDT immortal call.

Yes - I'm out of touch with trade league prices, but for 5-10 divs you should be blasting T16s no problem.

What do you think about all those claws going around that are crafted by fracturing essence flat cold, essence attack speed rolled till crit & crit multi, veiled orb for ele pen and then finished with crafted hits can't be evaded. Seems like a good way to drop all the accuracy on the tree and the accuracy requirement on gloves.

I think that's a bad idea - you really want a Phys claw - more phys = more cold = more heatshiver damage. Hits can't be evaded isn't worth giving up that damage when you can accuracy cap for basically 1 wheel (which is strong with IAS anyway), and 1 suffix.

Hello Zish. I wanted to ask a quick question about this build. Would you recommend it for someone who is more of a casual player and does not have really any experience crafting gear? I really like Frost Blades and want to play it but I have really no knowledge of how to meta craft or anything. I generally just buy most of my gear because I have little time to play and I also am not a gambler and do not like the idea of using currency to craft and then it bricks the item. So, I just buy it instead.

I think shock is really op with a good shock setup (VLS + Good chance to shock + Yoke suffuring). The 2 tincture setup is really op too and more easy to setup (but i dont like too the gameplay with another button to press ahah)

So I've tried the 2 tinctures setup for a while. I like your version better. There's clearly more burst damage with your build, and I'm not a fan of the tincture micro management. I'm at 6.5m dps in pob atm, but I have hard time with juiced maps - I'm too squishy and I die too often for my taste . I'm considering trying to squeeze in flesh and stone, but it's going to be very expensive. I'm also experimenting replacing hatred with haste, and I think I like it better for now. There's a marginal dps loss, but a lot more qol.

not sure how you've killed t17 map boss with that gear, seems impossible.. like imo you have to be 2x stronger for that type of content.. but anyway ty for build suggestion. maybe some archer-deadeyes and whatever-juggs are better this league (definitely), but it is still viable and I enjoy this vibe

Hey Zish ! Thanks a lot for that update. How do you fix your intelligence if you take Fury Valve ? I'm currently running 2x Taming and Agate Amulet, do you think it's worth it to drop a taming and fit in a fury valve ? Maybe should we look for an intelligence mod on the gloves ? What's your take on that ?

If you run 2x Tamings you will need perfect gear elsewhere - you may need to get Int from a Cluster jewel to make it work - or maybe belt. Glove and Boot suffixes are too important, but yea Fury Valve is worth fitting in over 2x Tamings imo.

absolutely the freeze node, the shock node is a little bit underwhelming unless you have a guaranteed method to generate 100 stacks of shock, im thinking of swapping to the tincture node instead, but otherwise the order for ascendency in this build should be Scorch node > Unbound > Freeze node > Either shock or tincture node

+2 strike gloves and herald explosions should make this actually pretty good, main problem is immune to freeze and chill, but even then should do good enough damage, getting a +2 strike and +1 pierce gloves are really important. Juicing expedition might not be a very good idea unless u have a really endgame setup, theres only 2 league mechanics can be harder than t17's right now, and those 2 are expedition and essence, so if ur build can barely farm t17's i wouldnt suggest juicing expedition or essence (essence boss in a t6 map can be harder than the entirety of fortress lol)

I'm playing this build and did some expedition. It was pretty rough until I got a +2 strike glove and then took block pierce on my attack mastery. Once I had that, expedition was very possible. After you get the attack mastery that lets you ignore block, expedition is much easier. There are two big nodes you need to watch out for - if enemies can 100% avoid elemental ailments, your damage is more than cut in half and your defenses are mostly gone. The big juicy bonuses from taming, freeze, and shock are all gone. So I highly recommend avoiding that node. The other big node you need to avoid is cold immunity. Aside from that you can do almost any node. Oh, and bosses will always have the possibility to oneshot you, especially if you took remnants that enhanced their damage output (unavoidable in most cases). So if you want to do ilvl 83 logbooks, you'll want 8 mill dps or so (not very difficult to achieve with unbound, tincture, 6link, and a decent claw). This will let you pop most bosses very quickly and minimize the amount of mechanics you have to do that will oneshot you.

Gonna be honest.. not a huge fan of Warden so far.. its odd bc I cleared both void stones on a melee build with a tabula, purity of elements and white wind lmfao.. but it just feels clunky.. like I expect "clunkiness" in my starter.. but im at the point of scaling into bugger items and it just isnt "feeling" significantly better.. maybe I rely too much on tinctures to fix everything.. when theyre up, I feel like a god.. as soon as they fall off I feel like I desync'd lol.

Ive been playing around with a few setups and no matter what I do, Vaal LS is better in every possible way.... I have a phys+cold claw, phys converted to cold mastery, heatshiver, awakened added cold, Fury valve...... I take out my FB gem for Vaal LS and my dps doubles if not triples and I freeze more consistently for longer lol.. if I replace inspiration with returning proj, it gets even more ridiculous... GRANTED, this is reliant on positioning for LS to get the double hit action per attack (GGG really shouldve fixed this) The only thing I can really figure is I do have the bleed crit wheel... Its wasted points for 100% cold convert.. but with LS, you only have 90% ele to phys so you can still bleed targets and get a disgusting amount of crit change and damage. Also worth noting, my ascendancy takes winter, wilds, then tinctures..

The tincture give me around 600 increased critical strike, so nodes in tree thats give you cri chance are not important

Zish, great work followed your build. It worked ok, but due to extreme cost of upgrading body armor, weapon, and gloves I just gave up for the rest of the league as I don't feel like restarting. It used to be 1 Div to buy a base item, but now they seem to be gate keeped and are 3-4 div's for one that isn't even top tier. Next time I'll just stick to making a sanctum runner and print Div like everyone else.
