I've been doing Breach + Beyond since the start of the league and having a ton of fun. farming it mostly for the guaranteed tainted currency though, it's true that Beyond mobs drop absolutely nothing. I also think choosing mob drops from altars is nearly stronger than choosing quant this league, especially if you're not giga juicing.

I said the other day, that the mapper settlers get way better drops than me on lower tier maps. I pretty much always have my settlers pumping low risk maps and ive got a steady stream of chaos. However due to the rarity and demand of chisels, theyre becoming the new chaos.

Love all the videos especially when you go deep on optimal but also dig into beginner friendly strategies. I've been running some stongboxes and shrine nodes to put extra mobs on the map but it feels pretty mediocre; I'm curious what you might run as an example atlas/scarabs for altars?

For altars you want max pack size. So monstrous lineage and Influencing scarab of hordes for sure.

How are T0 uniques guaranteed loot? If I run it, would I guarantee getting those drops? Also I think Nimis only drops from Uber eater, and the div card is only guaranteed from Residence, which is also mostly random.

I am doing blight and I quite like it. Was quite lucky with raw div drops, but unlucky with blight ravaged maps and oils. Overall my net woth is ~20 div doing solely blight plus tons of bubblegum currency. I am a very casual player, doing barely 10 maps a day and maybe 5-8 blighted (ravaged if I have them) maps per day.

@@zignetvs i do think this change wasnt mentioned that it got 10x harder to roll those while they never got more profitable, i did a test of a couple 100 deli skitterings and i made 0 profit at alll now i just got a ton of scarabs to sell to recover the costs xD at the same time you get next to no gold from juicing delis so i feel realy bad how far im behind in city building due to running mostly only delis .. that also dont drop ground loot ^^

for exiles, would meticulous appraiser be good if doing t16s? I can't do t17s yet juiced so need some currency, and like tink sounds more than steady currency. whats a good atlas? should i also ghost the exiles or no?

Ghosting makes them hard, but gives more loot. Meticulous appraiser could be good. Haven't tested.

I have a question on recommendations for atlas strategy for my specific build: I league started Ele Hit of the Spec deadeye and whilst the clear speed is phenomenal, I am incredibly squishy and since grace + phys taken as nerfs it's been really hard to stay alive, even with essence and harvest farming. what strategy would you recommend to farm consistent currency for bow builds?

I would suggest rolling hybrid armour and evasion gear. You can 10k armour.

I used to make like 350-400 divs in about 2 weeks in older leagues by simply doing alc+go. Now it seems impossible and using scarabs on T16s is a waste. This is probably the worst state of poe's endgame been in a very long time

Do you think it makes sense to do Ultimatums in T17s? I really don't want to do T16 content because the gold disparity is too big, but if the implicits dont do anytihng for Ulti then it's kinda pointless. How would you recommend running Ultimatum in terms of rolling/scarabs?

T16. Depends on strength of your character. double bribing scarab is baseline. map quantity effects the ultimatum boss if he spawns.

So hitting my head against the wall. Have a 30ish divine archmage. Have been doing harbo in T16s trying to farm but its beyond slow. T6 essence farm has been my greatest profits but T6 sucks for gold and xp. In your humble opinion what is a good T16 farm that basically doesnt require a mageblood or 9 div a map to run lmfao. I guess im looking for a mid tier consistant earner and just havent found it yet. About to say screw it and go ritual hahaha

Haven't done extensive testing, but probably pack as many magic mobs into map with high pack size and currency roll.

Exiles does not drop scarabs or anything meaningful, I had 20+ rogues on map, fully juiced with affliction, ghost busted and boss guards etc. 0 scrabs dropped

Last league, Back to Basics affected T17 Boss Fragment drop rates as it increased the quantity on the map. People also use sac frags for this purpose. Do you think quantity from blue altars would also influence this? And even if it does, do you think it'd actually be worth trying to get some altars while boss rushing, or just not bother?

Quant alters should affect it. If you can run carto scarab of risk, then you will guarantee 2 frags. if not, I wouldn't worry about it. Just roll the maps well with high quant.

They're pretty awful atm. Struggle to cover the entry price from 15 full waves and a lot of the loot is low value essences + fossils rather than higher value items.

@@Igelme I've ran a few more today at a larger sample size and it would appear they are semi profitable, I ran 10 and ended up with about 35 div of items, so about 3.5 per simulacrum. Did get unlucky with gems though, they're probably closer to 4 div per sim with gems. You'd have to run a couple of hundred to get a good idea though as voices significantly impact the profit per hour

Ritual seems average. Worse than ultimatum, but easier to do. You do get raw divines.

I like Seven years bad luck because its a rare drop, but non rare enough that you will never see it. But it is early in the league, so mirrors aren't astronomical in price yet.

@@Gopstop222 i can run t17 on a shitty mine build without caring about the rolls, in necropolis I had to burn hundreds of chaos orbs to run a few maps that don't disable my COC DD build. This might have to do with back to basics though and not JUST t17s. The loot is better than on t16 but the mobs die in one hit. The boss is a different story, it has more health and damage than Uber bosses

You can roll t17 to juice currency and/or scarabs and/or maps. By focusing on let's say currency and then also using mavens cartographer chisel, you can get a good amount more currency from mobs in t17. Same with scarab and maps. I know, i know the rich get richer. And bosses in t17 drop fragments, so some bosser builds just run quickly to the boss and kill it for the fragments. I've never been a bosser so I don't know how quick and profitable this is. I hope that helps.

I choose to quit the game instead, this is bullshit, almost 80 hours and had 2 div and 2 valdos . Last league i made over 1500 divs overall in 5-6 weeks then quit. You can alch and go harvest very successfully. It is a buff for guaranteed loot strats.

This is always the case with GGG. In order to put a dent in what the top % of the player base is doing, they nuke the crap out of the casuals. This really gets old. Since GGG is adamant about not capping anything in their game, they lose control of it to the top % player base. They also tend to like to shoot themselves in the foot, adding things into the game they know and admit "will break the game." Like most casuals, there is always a wall you will hit in POE. I spent a few years working my way through the game, getting better and better each league to where I was able to clear T16 red maps. GGG decided to do a player power nerf due to the top % of the player base making their content trivial. Estimates were that the nerf was between 30-40%. They basically wiped out a years' worth of progression for me, as after the nerf, I would hit that wall in yellow maps. POE is designed and balanced around that top % of the player base. New players or casuals are not part of the conversation in POE. Fortunately, there are other games in the genre that are more friendly towards the more casual player.
