Another thing for Betrayal (Jun): the experience is insanely good for leveling both your character and gems! Safe houses have a huge XP boost.

Hello, this is my first league ever and following your ice nova archmage build i managed to get to 98 and I just got my 4th void stone. I decided to give the boss atlas map a try, and i noticed the shadow shaping keystone node. So I was wondering if there is a specific setup for my favorite maps when using this map to utilize this node or it doesn't matter. You do not drop any cortexes with destructive play, cortex only drops from synth maps.

i mean, if you have trouble with maps (you shouldn't in white tier but who knows), you can always go back to kitava and farm a couple of maps.

The first build is good... Until youve run into Eionar 90% of the maps while only having 40% chance of it appearing. Also doesn't help my case that im not well geared for dealing with the beasts but maybe that's just my bad luck

Newer player here, interested in going the Exp/Essence/Betrayal route, can someone recommend 2-3 league start builds that would be good for that atlas tree?

SST bleed gladiator would be pretty good for those, but some essence mobs might take a while to kill. Probably a slam slayer or glad would be better for essence but the range of SST is so nice for Expedition. Edit: archmage ice nova of frostbolts hierophant or hexblast mines trickster should also be good, and they’re both league start viable.

You just need good anoints on your rings, ziz has one video on blight explaining the mechanic. Basically all builds can do blight just need the meteor and freeze annoint

@@metamon2704 That's exactly what Heist in maps is though. You don't do Heist on atlas because you wanna actually *run* Heist. You can also do it to just sell Contracts and Blueprints. It's easy passive income because it's just a handful of clicks per map

every league I always spec for expeditions/ essence at first, do that for a week, buy a crap ton from tujen to get my divines, ancient orbs (roll for mageblood), annul's, etc. Then I respec for harbingers and do that for a bit. With 3.24 having the option to save 3 atlas I made one for back to basics map famring. I've never had to rely on trading with others using this idea.

I would rather focus on atlas strats which doesn't require you to leave the maps and go somewhere, because current league mechanic requires ORES and Gold to be farmed all day long. On something which produces lot of mobs and rares (more rares == more gold). Heist is definitely not my go.
