Way back in the day when I was bowling in the Jr. League at Manchester & Western Bowl, around 1972, some of the Westside Crips would hang out there sportin the Ace Deuces with the matches. A couple of those dudes bowled with us. Those hats were nice with the way they had the colored matches set up in different ways. Some people hear about it, but have never seen it. They were a real work If art. That's back when the "dress code" was just as important as your get down and your activity 😎

A lot of these OG’s have a issue with crip on crip. I know it’s shit there that I could never comprehend but the same energy is needed when you say Black on Black cause that’s the marker to the finish line. More importantly than crip on crip or blood on blood or GD vs BGD is the modern day Genocide that we inflict on our own selves on a daily. 🤷🏾‍♂️

@jame agreed.. man has a inate nature to cause havoc and create violence, that is what I mean. if you aim small you won't accomplish that of we haven't done it in a million years let's aim larger and look at the bigger picture if we can't see past out block, or our neighborhood or our clique or our skin color we can't see a better future.
@naturallaw1733
@naturallaw1733 4 жыл бұрын
@@theplowboipodcast6469 "man has a inate nature to cause havoc and create violence" ? 🤔... I don't believe that's part of our Nature. I think throughout History, we've had to battle and compete for Resources which have led to those sort of behaviors. but I really believe that our Nature is more about being Curious and Questioning our Environment to garner more comfort, security and confidence within it. because after all, that is what will give us our best chances for Survival.

That really shows a sense of true love and loyalty to one another and fellow comrades. Although I'm not in them streetz like that you dropped knowledge on the difference in mentality of this generation and your generation . Also shout out to Mr Kev Mac and professor Melly Mel for once again bringing this history to the listeners ears like myself and others. Much love Kings ✌🏿 and many blessings.

So to my understanding, CCR were the first one's to dress up in all blue with the blue rags and came out with the word cuzz or am i tripn? Crip on Crip gave Cripn a blac eye. In my opinion if Palmer and the South hadn't started beefn CCR would still be going strong on the streets and not only behind the walls.. Great Interview Mel and KM!!

Like he said Big Took westside, Leader Raymond Eastside and Mac Thomas Compton...Mac died, early he stopped banging and became a Hustler, he was backstabbed and killed by his new crew for his share in a robbery. But Mac is the mount Rushmore With Raymond Tookie, Mac, Craig Craddock.
