Yeah, a lot of people don't realize that on of the reasons that Raymond moved on to the Westside for recruitment, was that he faced a lot of resistance on the Eastside. A lot of brothers and groups stood their ground, and were not conforming to Raymond's program. Real history👍

Pharoah 1 facts💯 my dad LiL Tommie and Uncle Big John Seals (rip) wasn't turning Crip or Blood. They stayed Wall Nuts. My dad said Raymond and his boys came down Wall St and 87th once... That was that. But my father became very very good friends with Raymond til his death and Bulldog Benny Ray til the day he passed. So good that my grandmother adopted Benny Ray as her son.

Day And Night, true facts. Once again, a lot of these dudes don't know the "Original" history of it all. It all originated right there on the Eastside, even before the Crips. You had The Avenues, The Wall-nuts, The Park Boys, The Avalon Gardens, The Pueblo Bishops, The Outlaws, and so forth. Everyone wasn't down with the new, Crip thang✌

Great interview..The way they talk about the Pueblos letting different sets come through seems like they were no none sense dudes but weren't on some crazy territorial stuff. I like what they said in the end about going through stages and then finally getting out of all that and going to college and working. A dude that stood up to an older Raymond Washington by himself could have lived off that in the gang culture for the rest of his life but he realized he could still be a man but progress past that stuff ..don't get caught up in the hype of the life.

Love his final statement of telling the younger cats to get their lives together and saying life is precious. And back in the twin's day there was way less killings cause those cats fought with their hands and the gunplay wasn't a "thing" yet. The slightest of an argument nowadays will result in guns being fired and most likely death. It's sad to think now how fast things can escalate into tragedy.

That whole area is already sewed up by other gangs.ZERO chance of the Castle Crips coming back.Los Angeles has all sorts of defunct gangs that faded out
@pharoah12006 жыл бұрын
Money Bag, most of them grew up and stopped banging. Others moved out of the neighborhood, and couple moved on to other gangs like the ECC and Swans👊

Met a Terry from Castle Crips he went by "stacks" don't know if its the same person but he lived in Fresno probably in his late 60's right now and has 1 leg.

@IFukkEm6 жыл бұрын
streetgangs he's originally from L.A probably visiting or temporarily living in Fresno at the time(he came by for about a month). I remember him telling me how glad he was meeting another person from the L.A county area. Real cool guy he was chopping it up to me like we was best friends.

@streetgangs6 жыл бұрын
what do you know about the Helms truck?
@sistabrim4716 жыл бұрын
streetgangs:The way these Handsome Twins described the type of truck they used to put body bags in: the Helms donut truck had the drawers that slide in and out at the back of the truck. The Helms Donut truck had the best donuts in the world: it came to our neighborhood off Hoover & Slauson in the 60's, ringing their bell.

I can't recall ever meeting any gangbanger twins. 😁 They compliment one another. I'm a twin also, banging scared mines, so she stayed in school. I became lost to world of alcohol gangs & dope until I was 33. I stopped banging physically at age of 19. That's a lil too old and I'm still working on my mental status, which is the hardest, but doable.

If you are looking to interview Castle Crips you gotta go to the Swans first because most broke off and joined them. The Hoovers, East Coast,and Kitchens.
