how we increase or decrease the serie and shunt resistances? they depend on what?

The slope of I-V curve at Voc is far from Rseries of cell. That slope is a parallel combination of diode conduction and actual Rs of PV cell. Slope of Isc closer matches Rshunt when defects dominate Rshunt. Both silicon bulk Rseries and bulk silicon Rshunt are affected by illumination level on cell. These resistances increase at low illumination. For shunt this is good at low illumination levels but cell is often dominated by defect shunts. For series resistance this is bad as series resistance increases at low illumination level and dominates over the metal current collection series resistance.
