I have to admit, I've never even dreamed of wanting to own a yacht. I ended up watching one of your videos. Don't ask me how I found it. KZbin just decided to suggest it I guess. But, I've been watching more and more of your videos and I'm becoming a yacht aficionado and I keep saying, Oh yeah. I like this a lot. This boat could be owner managed too, correct? Lovely. That is one magnificent machine! Absolutely love the styling and layout. "Sport style" boats this size usually comes off as slightly gimmicky, but this one really pulls it off. Putting the galley below decks certainly makes for an extremely nice and roomy main deck. Somehow it manages to look "compact and sporty" and very roomy at the same time if that makes any kind of sence.

11/02/2020 - I watched this about a year ago. I'd been a regular since March 2020 after my furlough. Having been a commercial boater for 15 years - way back - I thought I "knew it all", but NOT. Not sure on all the glossy white in the cabins. I guess it increases the light and is probably lighter too (har har) but it looks a bit like a suburban office. The detailing is well thought out though. Nice use of colours in the saloon. Also good to see a flybridge which _doesn't_ ruin the boat's lines; the electronics at the back are tucked down low and a handy bimini is built in instead of an ugly giant fixed overhead. Edit: the crew area is very impressive for a boat this size. Separate shower in the crew head and actual separate cabins for each crew member. Sheer Bloody Luxury compared to most boats this size.

Love the colours and the sculptured carpet on the main deck. Princess could take a leaf out of their decorators book as I think the trend will ebb away from masses of wood veneer paneling and go more modern such as we see here and on the Pearl 80.

Now in the first crew cabin that you showed, it appeared to have a pullman bunk going against the wall at the foot of the bed. Not to sure. If it is its perfect for a crew of 3. Another outstanding ship, I can daydream about shoving the throttles wide open and making the tree thousand horsepower push me back in the custom helm station to get up on plane. I imagine at WOT my trip would be very short because those engines can guzzle fuel faster than you can fill the tanks but the speed is worth every gallon of fuel. I've been on a few at Southampton Boat Show. Monte Carlo Yachts and Southerly Yachts representatives were very polite and friendly, but I had a bad experience with either Princess or Sunseeker's staff, can't remember which now. Extremely snobby attitude. Not the right way to treat a potential customer.

The triple engine system is going to be a bit of a fuel guzzler but anyone who can afford this can easily afford the fuel bills. Actually much more efficient than normal shaft drives - Volvo claim 40% longer cruising range 20% higher top speed 30% reduced fuel consumption 30% less CO2 emissions 50% lower perceived noise So of course that must be right :)

The only thing I don't like with these long sport cruisers is the main deck is just way too small for that size of a boat, yeah it makes the exterior look cool but there is a lot of space that is sacrificed.

Whilst I take your point, if the windscreen was further forward you'd have a longer internal main deck, the result would be losing space on the foredeck where that fantastic bow area is, and on sportscruisers like this, it's all about outdoor space. So I think they got this one right. Plus, as you say, it looks extra cool.

@@AQUAHOLIC I agree but for me, a yacht especially a one long 80 feet should be focused primarily on the guest and their comfort. That main deck just looks way too cramped and it looks something that you will get on a 50 foot yacht. I would rather go with a Princess Y85, yeah it may not look as cool but the luxury and space is not compromised. My father owns a boat and we rarely use the bow area if we want to be outdoor we are either at the back or on the flybridge. For me personally, a sports cruiser is not the way to go as it doesn't satisfy our needs but I am sure there is a huge market for them and I have to agree they look extremely cool.

Personally, when we spent 2 days on a boat this kind of size in the Med earlier this year, we were on the bow all the time and never once used the saloon! Another great video Nick but I am not a great lover where the main bridge is on the same level as the main entertaining area. In fact this bridge is actually part of the same. Okay I suppose if you are an owner captain but I prefer them separate if crewed. But it is okay for the price. My type of yacht is the Pearl 95. That is what I call a dream yacht. Maybe one day eh!........

Like the accommodation but would personally prefer a larger galley area maybe at the expense of a guest room.The three Volvo's are impressive but I'm guessing any engineer would need to be a midget to be able to access them if they needed any attention. Think I spotted a Pullman Bunk in the first ( single berth crew quarters) Nick, as well as Pullmans in the twin berths cabin. So it has the same crew layout as the Azimut 77S
