I'd say the Catamaran has many benefits over a traditional boat. This Cat is fantastic. Of course, at $1 million dollars it should be.

Great videos! Unlike the nauti crap where victoria takes forever opening every thing that can be opened. This boat would take her an hour to make a video. And her husband too. Takes way too much time to do the pilot house and engine room

My parents were there hoping to meet you. They are getting the 51 and were invited to do a walk through. Hope they get to meet you another time!

Hey Nick, just realised that I don't see your videos in my feed anymore. Don't know if it's something I've done, (although still watching all your videos just have to search them out), or if you've pissed the touchy algorithm off 😂 Just thought I'd let you know.

For all of you who want to see hull nr 1 on its way from Turkey to New Zealand, search for Awanui NZ on youtube. And for Nick, Mark (the owner) is on his way to the UK, so perhaps a great opportunity for a meet the owner episode ? By that time they have been using that boat for a little over a year, done several thousands of miles, so will be able to explain the good and the bad. In all this was a great tour and judging from the reactions of the people on board.............they recognized you !
@AQUAHOLICКүн бұрын
Pretty sure he's on his way to New Zealand...
@davedavids9619Күн бұрын
@@AQUAHOLIC he is on his way, but it will be a three year project. Currently he is in Spain, near Barcelona. Will be going around Gibraltar and then up to the UK. They plan to be next summer (2025) in the UK, then off to Canada and the US.

Genius , im working in the solar branch , and , yes , that is a great management system for energy . I guess it is the future . I’m owing a boat which is smaller , 54 foot , 2 Volvo ips 800 , need 180 liter per our . More than double

You’re videos are literally the best no one else puts this much detail into a tour, keep up the good work, always looking forward to what you do next

I appreciate that!

For a big boat it seems to lack space to me. The bedrooms seemed small and for me too much wood with the floors being wood as well. Probably nicer in the flesh but not for me for that price,
@AQUAHOLICКүн бұрын
It's designed for stability and proper seakeeping, so yes, a lot less space than tall voluminous boats that prioritise accommodation. Completely different set of priorities.

It always surprises me that yacht builders don’t understand the value of Aquaholic exposure and wouldn’t prioritize a closed tour for Nick to expand their exposure/marketing.
@AQUAHOLICКүн бұрын
They will do. I just have to show up 1/2 hour before the show opens. Sadly I've not yet found a way of turning up at that time at all the boats I want to film... 🙂

Was anyone else screaming at the screen - dude! Answer the question just answer the question 🙋♂️. Did the best you could with the crowd… I have a question 🙋♂️.?.? - would the owner of this wider 92 - would you have to rent 2️⃣ slips? I mean the damn thing is almost 40ft wide, right?

I'm sure all the superlatives have already been spoken for. The Arcadia A96 salon with its opening floor to ceiling glass walls, is the a pinnacle of open concept living. with the beam of the ship at 8 m (26ft) the drop-down balconies are redundancy that's not truly needed, whereas on smaller boats, it's a great idea. I liked the egg shaped mirror in the master bath, but the boat needs organic "outsider-art" to hang on the empty... walls.

Nick, I hate to critique your very competent walkthrough but two things pop into my mind; 1. A layout arrangement or deck plan is really important for us get a sense of where you are and how spaces are allocated. We are not on the boat with you wandering about! And you meander like a zombie on meth filming erratically your path. Or is it me being dyslexic? 2. This boat is a small, compact explorer, not a "white boat used solely for short term hedonistic pursuits in the Med or Caribbean" with a huge crew. You should highlight the differences like I noted, the easy care wood joinery, the no fuss easy care flooring for a boat that is more about function than luxury glamour. In not needing half the crew to spend their days polishing and on a NordH 51 it is likely to be an owner skipper couple plus one or two guests, no crew, so functionality and easy care means something.

Great walk through, I personally would not buy a vessel with that brand HVAC system. Very poor experience with that brand. I wonder if they offer a Dometic system as well
@Ulrik_HejdenbergКүн бұрын
A boat twice as long is also twice as wide and has more "floors", although a "floor" on a small boat is sometimes just an extra bed under the helm, it creates great added value.

I'm surprised how loud the water is slamming against the hull. Insulation wouldn't help reduce that?

It's on the outside of the harbour in a temporary boat show berth. It's not somewhere you would go if cruising.
