Based on what we've heard so far, I'd say the victim didn't collapse from poison but rather from withdrawals. Rainbow called her a cheater, so she probably was enhancing her performance with something that she was keeping in her juice boxes. Rainbow was swapping them to regular juice. I'm guessing part of the reason Rainbow lied has something to do with honor maybe and she didn't want to point out the "doping" directly.

My best guess for Rainbow’s case was that there was no poisoning at all and that the victim simply passed out due to a combination of withdrawal from illegal substances and exhaustion from strenuous flight training that she was taking in order to enhance her flight performance I believe the grickle grass isn’t a poison, but rather a drug. Specifically a steroid for enhancing one’s athletic abilities and performances Steroids and drugs usually don’t have much effect from just one dose , but over time as they take doses more often, the effects in one’s health from the drugs would eventually kick it. That’s how it’s like for practically all drugs Stream Line share a bit of a resemblance to Lightning Dust from body type and mane style. It’s very likely Stream Line IS in fact Lightning Dust in disguise. She likely disguised herself and given herself a fake identity, committing identity fraud. I think the crime took place sometime AFTER Lightning Dust was kicked out of the academy. I mean, identity fraud IS a thing. And from Spitfire said about “Stream Line” (or Lightning Dust) being almost as good as Rainbow Dash, Lightning Dust first appearance in her debut episode shows exactly what Spitfire testified. Rainbow is a little better at flying than Lightning from a flight drill they were doing Here’s what I think really happened: After Lightning Dust was kicked out of the reserve, she decided to sneak herself back into the reserves to get revenge on Rainbow Dash and finally outfly her. Though since she’s now been kicked out, she would need to disguise herself by changing her mane and coat color to hide suspicion and of coarse come up when a fake name, Stream Line. She probably had to get a fake ID and everything. In order to rush her improvement on her Flight abilities, she brewed up some grickle grass steroids for herself to consume to enhance her physical capabilities. Though to make sure to avoid as little suspicion as possible, she probably put the poison in some grape juice that she smuggled in. Rainbow Dash eventually caught onto Lightning using illegally steroids to improve her flying. This plus their last encounter could very likely be the cause of Rainbow and Lightning’s other episodes. As for Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, I think that Rainbow asked Pinkie Pie to help her expose Lightning Dust. Of the mane 6, besides Fluttershy and Applejack, Pinkie Pie is probably one of the ponies who Rainbow Dash is closest with. While they did claim that grickle grass is pretty easy to make, Rainbow probably chose Pinkie Pie for this matter due to her baking and culinary knowledge since brewing things like potions and making drugs is similar to cooking and baking. Baking and cooking is practically a form of doing science similar to how making drugs is a science too. Plus her craftiness and predictability also helps too. Rainbow probably asked Pinkie Pie to lace some juice boxes with grickle grass and smuggle them onto the academy grounds. This is likely used as some sort of bait to lure Lightning Dust in to create an opening for Rainbow Dash to expose her and to possibly expose Lightning Dust for faking her identity. There is a chance Rainbow could know that Stream Line is Lightning Dust though there is a chance that Rainbow still doesn’t know. I believe that Rainbow Dash was arrested around the same time she was trying to expose Lightning Dust, catching her with the juice boxes. I believe the tear was to stash in the juice boxes. Rainbow likely was resisting arrested was because of coarse she didn’t commit a crime and she was trying to expose Lightning Dust as the actual pony they should be hounding on. As for the tornado, I believe that was Lightning Dusts doing. Likely from her doing extra training or even more likely maybe even a prank by creating a disaster situation to save ponies from the tornado in order to look cool to try and get attention from the higher ups from the Wonderbolts. ---- Though what if we were to assume that Stream Line is NOT Lightning Dust and that Stream Line isn’t as bad as Rainbow Dash claims she is. There’s a chance that she could be related to Lightning Dust. Most likely a sister or a cousin of Lightning. Likely a younger one. I mean, an older family member projecting onto a younger one. Not being able to succeeding and having your subordinate succeed for you. Lightning probably wanted Stream Line to avenge her. Perhaps Stream Line is secretly a fan of Rainbow Dash and has a respect for her. Maybe Stream Line was against the use of steroids but was forced to do so by Lightning Dust due to her desperation to beat Rainbow Dash, indirectly through Stream Line’s accomplishments. This would make Lightning Dust Stream Line’s supplier. Though how does Rainbow and Stream Line fighting fit into this? Hurt by Rainbow Dash calling her a cheater and stuff, she got consumed with Rainbow Dash’a accusations and misjudgment of her character and eventually a heated rivalry started. Underneath Stream Line’s anger was hurt. Though I think with how Lighting Dust despises Rainbow Dash, I think Stream Line would keep her admiration for Rainbow Dash a secret from Lightning Dust.

Judging from what we know so far, i have a theory about what happened (don't know if its right): I think the reason that someone relatively unknown like streamline become good enough to be on the wonderbolt reserves was because she was taking some illegal performance enhancer of some type ( which she masked with her juice boxes). Somehow rainbow found out about this, hence the confronation. Now however she has a dilemma: if she says nothing, streamline will continue to use those enhancers, but if she tells spitfire, it could potentially destroy streamlines future. So in typical rainbow fashion, she tries to solve the issue herself, by switching out streamlines drinks with her own, and getting rid of the performance enhancers. Rainbow never poisoned streamline, which is why there is no poison in the juice boxes or streamline's system. However, as a result of swotching out the boxes, streamline started going through withdrawal symptoms, which Philo reed mistook as posioning symptoms.

Dang, you beat me to it. This was *exactly* what I was thinking as well. Though I would like to add an addendum to the point of view. I think Rainbow Dash is also worried that she herself would be accused of holding drugs because she's been switching out Streamline's boxes for a while. Meaning, if caught with the drugs herself, *she'd* be the one to get the boot and not Streamline. There might be a few loose ends that can crop up to completely switch this hypothesis around though. @AutisticSpider1498 ай бұрын
In that case, it couldn't have been poison. Instead, it would make more sense Stream Line was drugged. For example Rainbow's accusation could sense Stream Line ingested drugs to keep her flying level stable and elegant. Preferably, steroids. Steroids are a type of drug that gives a host strength and energy, but with an overdose, they would have a risk of entering a coma or collapsing, one of the same effects Grickle Grass would give. I think it's more plausible that only ONE juice box contained the drug in it. Small doses may seem dense, but still can count as overdosing. If Stream Line drank the juice box that had the overdosed drug, it makes sense why the tests came negative for the containers to contain poison. If Rainbow Dash didn't mix the drug in and only swapped the juice boxes, then she wouldn't know if any of them was drugged. The question is: HOW would you easily put the drug inside the juice box without it leaking? It had to be something that could fit in the opening, like a thin straw.

A fun watch! Caught the Narnia reference. :) It made me smile. And Pinkie Pie's the next witness... isn't she? Theory time! All the toxicology tests showing there is no poison are true because there WAS no poison. Stream Line was taking performance-enhancing drugs that she put into her own juice boxes. Rainbow figured enough out, accused her of cheating, and began taking the drugged juice boxes and replacing them with her own, untampered ones to prove her point. Stream Line's performance suffered -- she couldn't keep up the level of activity expected plus withdrawal-- and she collapsed after she pushed herself too far. The symptoms of Grickle Grass are not that different from overexhaustion. Of course, then there's the question of if this is the case, why doesn't she just tell someone?

@@ralphdary7050Narratively, it makes sense given it's being done on the fly by Devotion and would naturally be chaotic since the CMC and other fillies aspect was mostly out of her control(especially when Athena forced Sweetie to talk despite the prior meeting with Devotion). In some ways, it takes advantage of the video/episode format through the narrative points working better there than as gameplay(kind of like some AA cases which employ similar ideas equally disliked on gameplay) Granted, I've yet to rewatch it in full, so it could change on that, but as far as cases go, AA does have a few worse, the badgers case of AA Investigations for example

It's a shame he's no longer a detective after the previous case but, even so, it was interesting to see the attitude and knowledge Private Eye had during his work like in that case of Estella (even correcting Trixie as it should be 😁). I hope he can return to it when he is released from his punishment later. 👍🏽👍🏽

Honestly at this point I really don’t think Luna is cut out to be a prosecutor. She’s way too emotionally unprofessional for this. Last case she was up front refusing to allow the witnesses to be pressed too far and basically handicapping the defense. Now she’s extremely aggressive giving no quarter, continuing to press the guilty verdict despite the test for poison saying other wise. It’s like Luna is trying to repent for her mistake of the past trial and just completely over shoots her goal and is now suffering the opposite extreme.

Another awesome entry. It was good to see Private Eye again, even if it was just through a past recollection of an infamous trial. Not going to lie, I raised my eyebrow at that mishap on Trixie's part. The fact that she STILL had that outdated report on the time when the crime was reported strikes me as odd. The writer of that report couldn't have mistaken "12" for "21" simply because the two numbers are reversed, could they? Also, what the heck is going on with Princess Luna?! She acted so aggressive in today's trial. Heck, I could've mistaken her for Nightmare Moon in how fiercely she responded to practically every statement from Sonata. I get that the trial with Turning Page had rattled our dear Princess of the Moon, but this seems to speak on a whole other level... I wonder if there may be more that is troubling her. . . . Sonata's style in defending was fascinating to see. It seems she relies more on waiting for the right moment rather than going heavy on the offensive. This works well for a chess player. Either way, we're underway with Rainbow's trial and something tells me we'll be hearing about Rarity's in the next episode. We'll most likely hear Pinkie Pie's testimony soon on Rainbow Dash and I would like to know what was in that letter that made Philo suspect Rarity. Could it be the same letter that Suri mentioned in Case 1-3?

Not to mention, being forced essentially to having her as her lawyer. Like, everyone goes on about how Rainbow is wrong for not trusting Sonata as her lawyer. Yet, they're essentially trying to force it, and it feels like it's unfair to Rainbow.

Okay. Watched this a few hours ago. LOVED IT! Have some thoughts to put down after absorbing everything. (WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK) 1. It's nice to see Private Eye again, even if it's just a flashback! I've missed him. He's honestly such a great and likeable character (despite what he did in Turning's trial; but even then it's sympathetic as while he did the wrong thing, it was to try to protect Turning Page. Not that it excuses what he did, but we sympathize with him for that reason) and it's great to see him here. 2. GASP! Is it just me.... or did we see Princess Celestia ACTUALLY doing her job as a judge and doing an AMAZING job on it no less. Her calling out Trixie on the files (which, come on Trixie, really??) and Sonata for fueling the file was honestly refreshing to see. Not to mention being fair and just for both sides. Good ol' Princess Celestia! 3. Holy cow, Princess Luna seriously was NOT messing around. Not that I blame her considering the last case deceiving her and with the news reporter trash talking her. But... Luna you need to chill. Rushing the trial is not the best move girl. And the constant shut downs and rage... not a good sign. I get that you want to redeem yourself and do better, but I think she's letting her emotions and anger cloud her judgement. Pheonix was right; taking it personally will lead to disaster. And if Luna keeps this up, IT WILL. Listen to Pheonix, Princess Luna. Yes, good on you for being more wary, I'm glad you're doing that. But PLEASE don't let emotions and the need to redeem yourself cloud your judgement. 4. I actually like Philo Reed here. He seems like a competent detective and he has a likeable personality. I don't think he's testifying against Rainbow out of genuine malice; I think he's trying his best (obviously he's wrong considering it's the Element of Loyalty we're talking about here, but still.) But... dude get some sleep for the next trial on Rarity's case at least XDD Also, him respecting Sonata was admirable, I'll give him that. 5. That last save by Sonata. That was too close for comfort. I respect her strategy, it's actually respectable. But now I'm concerned and I don't know how things will go. Especially since PINKIE PIE is gonna be the next witness. So... let's see how things go. 6. Rainbow Dash. I get you have a grudge against Sonata (and a understandable one), but if Pheonix is with her, then AT LEAST trust his judgment. Because you hiding things is not helping things. ESPECIALLY the part about her calling Stream Line a cheater. Rainbow, your stubbornness is LITERALLY causing your downfall. If you swapped the boxes, THEN TELL PHEONIX AND SONATA WHY SO THAT THEY CAN HELP YOU. You holding back crucial information is the reason you were almost pled guilty in court. I seriously hope Pheonix tells Rainbow the story of how he was disbarred and gives her a harsh chewing out to snap her out of it and realize that people (or ponies) DO change for the better. Or at least loosens her lips to tell important info. LOVING THIS SO FAR. Hyped for more!

Does Rainbow Dash honestly WANT to go to prison? Is she really willing to throw her life away for the sake of a grudge? Ok, so I think the next episode is going to reveal that Pinkie has been bringing Rainbow Dash the boxes of juice for a week where Luna will accuse Pinkie of being the one to make the poison off-site and supplying it to RD. I gotta say I think Luna learned the wrong lesson from the last trial and episode. While in the last one, she was a bit more passive, helping the defense, and maybe letting some things slide where she shouldn't have; here she immediately goes for the throat every time, seemingly relying on defamation of the defendant, and gives the defense no time to breathe. She is ultimately going to make herself look even more foolish if Dash is proven innocent and give her critics even more ammo against her. Unless she is playing some massive chess game we're not seeing. I'm hoping someone gives her a reality check soon. I also think the evidence against Dash is pretty flimsy. Like the fact none of the tests were positive for poison in any of the juice boxes they found should have been questioned. I get there was a percent error, but there still should have been something in them that was found. I think you have to be extremely precise to add just enough poison to both poison the pony, but not enough to be found by a test and I think we can say RD is not the type of pony who could do that. Also why didn't anypbody report on Dash switching the juice, especially after the fight the 2 had. Ok, I think I have an idea of what happened here. Stream line is taking either a steroid or potion, so she could join the wonderbolts. Streamline can get away with this by hiding the substance in those juice boxes. RD figures this out and this is why she doesn't like Stream line, She gets Pinkie to send her the same juice type of juice boxes but without the drug and has been switching them out with the Stream lines juice to expose her secret. This would explain Stream line's poor performance in the week leading to the collapse. The reason she collapses is probably due to withdrawal. RD didn't tell Sonata is because she didn't trust her, which I gotta is partially on the defense. Having Sonata someone Dash doesn't trust in an important case like this wasn't the best idea. I get it's so RD will grow to trust her by the end of this, but still. Can't wait to see what's next.

Honestly I just don't get Luna. Like, Did I miss anything? Had Luna not believed Athena the first day, a literal child would have been exiled or sent to the sun or something. That's the law but the law is unjust and ridiculous. Not to mention how it wasn't even a 'murder', it was an accidental killing caused by a CHILD. But apperenately she blames herself so much for the previous trial ending the way she did she is willing to step so law as to slander someone she considers a friend (someone whose mind she visits constantly at nighttime, mind you, so she knows her heart better than many people), over flimsy circumstantial evidences? Yeah no if I were Rainbow Dash I'd never forgive her. She barely even forgave Fluttershy, not to mention Sweetie Bell, so She'd kick Luna back to the moon if she could, after what she pulled today. I reached the steroids conclusion too and felt so smart for it but it looks like everyone else reached it too so maybe I'm not THAT smart lol Phoenix pulls a Mia here, with letting Sonata lead the case. Mia often was so focused on mentoring Phoenix and have him grow as his own lawyer (especially knowing she couldn't always be there for him, being dead and stuff), she seemed to be ok with letting Phoenix make mistakes that can ruin entire cases, including ones where her own sister's life were on the line. Not only that he convinced Rainbow to let Sonata defend her despite knowing how reluctent she was, he also let Sonata do her own thing during the entire case despite clearly disagreeing with her approach (but still respecting it).

@@ofekma12345 You know about the dream walking thing. One thing I kind of realized is that couldn't Luna use her dream walking spell to look at the defendant's mind and figure out whether they did the crime or not? Not a big deal, but it is funny how a character's ability can break a story. A similar one would be Discord just straight up being able to look into the past like he did in Return of Harmony.

Man, the present-day trial was intense, Luna was just not having any of this, the last trial not to mention that reporter badmouthing her for what happened has clearly got under her skin, perhaps the reason the trial was rushed to the afternoon is that Luna is desperate to restore some of her reputation it's making her blind in hasty anger and clouding her judgement. Also with Rainbow hiding the fact she accused Stream Line of cheating, and her not telling Sonata this, I wonder if it has anything to do with Ace Swift, who was also a cheater due to Sonata gathering blackmail on the racers, but I think the recess will have Phoenix stepping in to give Rainbow a serious talking to, perhaps even bringing up his disbarrment as Rainbow stormed off before then.

Honestly, I'm with Phoenix and Rainbow. Sonata's refusal to object to anything is pretty frustrating in this one. Like... From what's been presented, Luna barely has a case. Yeah, the judge seems oddly convinced by it, but that's happened before with a simple "That's just a possibility. You need evidence." turning it around. I'm honestly hoping things get better in the next part. It kinda feels like you're trying to combine the Investigations style slower pace with objections only happening really in rebuttle clashes, with the normal Ace Attorney courtroom mechanics. But that refusal to object makes Sonata feel really snobby and overly worried about looking dumb, moreso than actually protecting her client. That kind of pacing doesn't super work here. Really hoping I'm proven wrong, and that the next one makes this retroactively awesome.
@sasir20138 ай бұрын
I think that the main problem, rather than a combination of games, is that this case corners its writer by its own nature. They wanted a case in which there was a mystery about someone being poisoned without a trace of poison. That would work wonders in a normal mystery game. But in AA, since you're always defending someone (even in the investigations games most of the time), this kind of mystery can't really work, because you don't need to solve it, only to point out the obvious hole in the arguments.

@@kmmk5022 that's quite a theory. My guess is a bit shorter. Likely Rainow Dash caught Stream Line on taking drugs disguised as "grape juice", but instead of informing the authorities she was continiously replacing Stream's drugged pockets with clean ones, causing Stream to have Withdrawall syndrome. That explains how the poison was never found, it should be in the pockets Rainbow got rid of and it wasn't a poison in the first place. Remembering that Rainbow did leave the Academy to hang out with our Attorneys, she probably missed a batch of drugged juice and Stream drank it right before the incident. So, bad timing indeed. I dont know how Rarity’s case is going to play out but I can suspect that there might be the accusation of Espie killing her sister, Estella, out of jealousy with her relationship with Overall, then escaped and hire a pegasus to kill Overall half a decade later. I suppose that's plausible. What I don't get is that while its clear that Estella was murdered, why was it only brought up to Apollo and Trucy that both she and Espie "disappeared" by everyone? We know only Espie disappeared, while Estella died. So, why hasn't anyone told the truth to Apollo yet? Do you think Estella's "corpse" Somehow disappeared? Or that she had a body double before she mysteriously vanished with her sister? It wouldn't be too implausible due to the existence of the Mirror Pool.

Rainbow Dash's attitude as childish as it is, all comes down to the fact she still can't get over her grudge with Sonata. Her loyalty is only towards those she can trust 100%. Nothing more, nothing less. So it's pretty obvious she would've been more open with Phoenix if he had been defending her as opposed to Sonata who Rainbow still immensely doesn't trust given her actions of the past. This selectve loyalty within her grudge is something Phoenix himself will need to sternly address to her personally during this recess much in a similar manner in which he spoke with Athena when talking about his past mistakes during the previous case.
@chrisforward84438 ай бұрын
Sonata did try to get rainbow accused of murder, if not on purpose by altering the crime scene. I dont think thats really childish to be hurt over, and in some very real ways everyone else basically going "oh sure, here, you can take over" to sonata over rainbow's case is childish as it doesnt take both parties feelings into account. She even anteed to be proscutor for that case
@anthonydeadman8 ай бұрын
@@chrisforward8443 You misunderstand. I say it's "childish" because it shows she hasn't learned from her previous time being on trial. She still hides things from people, she still holds grudges that cause to make things harder for her in the long run. She hasn't fully grown and developed yet in relation to this which I imagine, will be something that is focused on with this specific case if not later on down the road. Yes she has VALID reasons to keep her grudge with folks like Sonata intact, but the fact she puts priority of her major distrust for her over keeping her reputation and keeping herself from getting a guilty verdict intact, is questionable and needs attention brought to it which is why I imagine Phoenix would come in to mentally slap her and basically give a harsh reality check of the situation which she absolutely needs right now for better or for worse.

At some point, it will be theorized Rainbow caught Stream Line Doping, but couldn't prove it. Rainbow replaced the jucie boxes as it was the method she was using, but without the drug in her system Stream line went into withdrawl which had these side effects. At least, I believe this will be a theory brought up in the future episodes, and the Doping part *is* real.

Other than that, Luna's demeanor has taken a more assertive approach, but is still sharp as a tack with pointing out facts and inconsistencies. Of course, Sonata is no slouch either. With what happened at the last trial, it's makes sense that she would take the "lie in wait" strategy to catch anything Luna has up her metaphorical sleeve. Speaking of, I wonder if what's up there is going to cause things to go better or worse, not just for the Defense, but for Rainbow Dash as well. Hopefully, the next "witness" can shed some light on what happened. Well, all we can do now is wait with baited breath. As always, Keep Calm and Strive for the Truth! OBJECTION! 👉

All righty, it's trial time in Cloudsdale! As usual, spoilers down below for my windbag comments, lol, and I do hope no one minds me doing this, since they're essentially recaps of what we just saw with my own thoughts, but it's kind of what I'm used to doing after watching something, lol Starting off with another flashback of Sonata's first trial, I see. Her speech about needing to consider both sides of the issue when determining truth or innocence feels particularly poignant in this case, with so much uncertainty and unseemliness surrounding Overall Concept and his actions. I'm still puzzled by that end-of-credits scene in the last episode... And we get to see our old friend Private Eye once again as the lead detective of that case, and a newly appointed one at that during that time, yet already earning the distinction of being a prodigy. The Ace Attorney series does love its prodigies, doesn't it, whether it's attorneys, prosecutors, or detectives, lol. He even managed to get Trixie to behave herself for the moment with that nice speech of his. It's true, of course: everyone who works for law and justice should be working towards the truth, not settling petty disputes and satisfying grudges, so there's no need for pointless antagonism. So by sharing a shift with Estella, Overall was allegedly the only one with an opportunity to kill her, and she was killed from being hit multiple times by an old walking stick, though from blood loss, not from the blows themselves, and even the true incident report, not the blundered one Trixie initially submitted, supports his guilt. Sonata and Trixie may still bicker like schoolfillies, but Celestia's right: this kind of banter is not warranted when a pony's life and innocence are at stake. At the very least, Trixie has the grace to accept she made a mistake, a far cry from her old self. Even so, Sonata's back to square one, and we'll just have to see what happens next, but for now, back to the present... So Phoenix and Sonata are facing off against Luna in Cloudsdale, and they even managed to bring His Honor up there, because of course. XD If Luna's prosecuting, then does that mean Celestia's been called to preside over Rarity's trial?... Luna's still grappling with the part she played in the last trial she prosecuted, and it seems like she's not going to be as helpful to the defense as she tried to be before, so we're in for an uphill battle, unless Phoenix and Sonata can find a way to help HER. She's determined to make sure the truth doesn't catch her or any of them off guard again like last time. She also doesn't seem to take Sonata seriously as an attorney yet, but His Honor made a good point: her wish to make amends as a prosecutor should be an example for other prosecutors to follow. Quite the strong reaction to Rainbow being accused of another crime, and it's hard to blame them. She's already been accused of murder once before, and now of attempted poisoning? Between this and Rarity's case, it really does make me wonder if someone, or more than one pony, has a grudge against Twilight and her friends... Now it's time for Philo Reed, and hoo boy, he's not looking so good. Being dragged up here at the last minute when he's already busy with Rarity's case, but wow, to think he was Private Eye's mentor... 'Grickle Grass'? That stuff in the beginning of The Lorax, where the Once-ler lived? What a reference, lol. So even if a tox analysis turned up negative, Stream Line showed the symptoms for it. And Rainbow Dash was swapping juice boxes between her locker and Stream Line's? That would've been nice to know beforehand, but why would she want to hide that from Phoenix and Sonata?... Philo's knowledge of botany is 'variable', but he's well-versed in poisons? Yet another Sherlock Holmesian trait, lol Pretty clever to see Sonata still applying the principles of Logic Chess to her cross-examination. She's gauging how Luna and Philo will react to being questioned on certain points, and waiting for the right opportunity to strike. She's one smart cookie. =) Well, Philo's cross-examination didn't turn up anything to help the defense's case, but he at least acknowledged Sonata's method of cross-examining. He knows what she was going for. =) And our next witness is Spitfire. It's sweet to know that, even if she wants to remain professional and impartial, she still has faith in Rainbow as a future Wonderbolt, and clearly doesn't want to testify against her. So Rainbow resisted arrest, too. Something else it would've been nice to know earlier. Still, it looks like Sonata struck a chord with Rainbow by saying she doesn't believe her demeanor means she's guilty, but, rather, upset at being arrested for a crime she didn't commit. Hopefully, by the end, Rainbow can finally let go of her grudge with Sonata and be properly grateful for what she's doing for her. And now we come to a point we haven't clarified up until now: motive. Why would Rainbow Dash want to poison a fellow Reserve? Well, if what Spitfire says is true, Rainbow didn't think Stream Line even deserved to be a part of the Wonderbolts, and considered her a 'cheater'...And she hid this from Sonata and Phoenix, because she knew it gave her a motive...This is not good... And we're left on quite the cliffhanger, as there's a witness who can answer HOW Rainbow brought the means to make Grickle Grass, but we need to wait for them to arrive. Considering what Rainbow said during the Logic Chess session with her, and a certain running trend from Turnabout Storm, I have a feeling I know who this witness is, but for now, we'll have to wait and see what comes of this recess, because Sonata and Phoenix have a LOT to discuss with Rainbow about the secrets she's been keeping...

Underneath Stream Line’s anger was hurt. Though I think with how Lighting Dust despises Rainbow Dash, I think Stream Line would keep her admiration for Rainbow Dash a secret from Lightning Dust.

@@kmmk5022That’s certainly a plausible theory, and very in-depth, too. I’ll be surprised to see if Lightning Dust wasn’t involved in some way, whether Stream Line IS Lightning Dust, or she’s someone associated with her. We already know Dash holds a grudge, and she has a strong sense of integrity when it comes to the Wonderbolts, and doesn’t want irresponsible or reckless behavior to be tolerated among them.

@@TProwerDo you think it’s likely that Ace Swift could possibly be involved too? What if the late Ace Swift could be related to Stream Line, or Lightning Dust? Though that would depend if Stream Line and Lightning Dust are two different people or if Stream Line IS Lightning Dust It would be interesting and make somehow sense for the events of Turnabout Storm to be involved in the cause of Turnabout Discharge. I mean, we’ve seen plenty of Ace Attorney cases where previous cases connect with future cases

I really enjoy seeing Sonata harness her skills when she was a blackmailer and apply them as a defense lawyer. It not only shows how much Sonata has grown while still keeping to her character. But it also gives a fresh new take on the defense side (not that the Wright and Co strategy is bad mind you). Also I know Luna's behavior here is definitely very strange and comes off as near sighted. But keep in mind that after years upon years of being deemed evil and a monster and finally getting the respect she wanted again, only for it to fall back down after case 2. I can understand Luna's feelings to an extent (not that it justifies her questionable performance so far) and wonder if she is acting like this because she is afraid of going back to being seen as that monster? I have a feeling our next major breakdown is gonna be Luna.

I do Hope Luna gets her head on straight...because man that last case has REALLY gotten to her, and it's made her cold and reckless...I hope this case will put her back on the straight path and know what it really means to prosecute, because right now, the fact she is asking the gallery to look at rainbow's guilty face clearly shows she is clearly not in the right headspace.

“Evidence is everything” The game itself said that. And it’s true. If you don’t have evidence you don’t have a case. Court is not won by gut feelings.

Rainbow dash is probably the worst defendant ever. I know she resented Sonata but Phoenix really needs to give her a talking to. Also Luna isn’t much better than Trixie. This is just her wounded ego from the last trail and just lashing at everyone else.
@amazingangus00198 ай бұрын
True, also in my opinion the worst of the mane 6 due to her ego and arrogance.
@kmmk50228 ай бұрын
Yeah like does Rainbow honestly think it’s worth it? Holding a petty grudge and getting herself wrongfully accused and imprisoned. She aint doing herself nor Sonata and Phoenix any favors
@amazingangus00198 ай бұрын
I agree with both your opinions on them. Hate to say it but Luna kinda deserved to be scolded from that radio mare, after accusing Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle for murder.

@@amazingangus0019Honestly this trial could’ve been won in like 5 minutes if RD just trusted Sonata and stop giving her attitude and just cooperate and trust her and tell her Better yet there probably wouldn’t even BE trial if RD just reported the matter to Spitfire about the doping

20:44 Celestia seems like the more fiery judge than the judge himself. More proactive in maintaining order. 22:27 Eh, he is the vanilla. Also, Luna is the prosecutor again? Fine. With Sonata as her opponent, this case should solve quicker than RD could say "Sonic Rainboom!" 26:17 I'm guessing there's actually someone else prosecuting RD's case and it's not Luna. But hey, someone different? I hope. Doesn't matter anyway but I do suppose I might need to take back my last statement. 30:05 LOL the audience already picked the side. Don't think this will help Luna's reputation. Then again, RD's own personal relationships are definitely more important than reputation. Or so I think 1:06:07 Her inner Nightmare Moon is beginning to show here 1:06:43 Now who's letting their emotions control them? It seems as pointed out by some people that Luna had apparently forgotten she saved the world many times especially from herself. Not counting Tirek since that was more or less all Twilight's own credit.

Is it possible that Stream Line was using her grape juice as a way to injest a liquid drug to enhance her flight abilities. Afterall at exactly 39:23 in the video, Reed said "more withdrawn" which leads me to think that her symptoms are actually long-term withdraw symptoms mistaken for poisoning. We will have to wait for future EoJ episodes to see for sure though.

I believe that Princess Luna is overlooking a possible steroid addiction that Stream Line was being withdrawn from that caused her to collapse l.
