Within this type of analysis (Parcel Fabric) a group of connected plots of land is saved and stored and made into a single network, such as the Geometric Network and Network Dataset analysis. The shape of polygons, lines, and points, meaning that the perimeter of the polygon turns into a linear layer and the end and beginning points of the lines are represented as points.
So when creating an analysis of plots, an indivisible texture of layers is created, that is, they are connected to each other without spaces (Gaps) or overlap between boundaries (Overlap), so the topological construction is used to determine the relationship of the geometric shape between the polygons before creating an analysis of the plots.
We conclude from the above that we have to create a topology for a set of layers, polygons and lines, and we use topological rules that are very necessary in creating a plot analysis, and these rules are:
1. Boundary Must Be Covered by: Polygon
Polygon boundaries must be covered by a linear layer.
2. Must Be Covered by Boundary: Line
The lines layer must be on the border of the polygons layer.
3. Must Not Self-Overlap: line
The line itself should not interfere with its geometric shape.
4. Must Not Self-Intersect: Line
The line itself must not intersect with its geometric shape.
5. Must Be Single Part: line
The lines should be single and not multiple in terms of geometric shape.
6. Must Not Intersector Touch Interior: Line
The lines must not intersect or touch each other.
After the topology is validated, the topology layer and the plot analysis group layer are entered using the Load a Topology to a ParcelFabric tool. The plot analysis is created.
