yet again some really useful information well explained for some that are not so sure about heat treating, the colours info is great for those without a heat treat oven, and I do think side to side movement in the quench can warp a blade though I think this is due to uneven cooling laterally as the strength of the steel is plenty to prevent the fluid from causing warps unless it is a long thin blade or a sword, that is from what I have experienced personally trying things out.
