This was my first lift kit on my 15 jku, great lift for the money although you definitely get what you pay for. Planning on upgrading to the 3.5in Metalcloak game changer lift with fox shocks for a better ride and articulation. Great vid though!

The drivers identified passenger side is because the side with the gas tank is a bit beefier to account for the weight. To you don't get tank lean.

If you are making bump stop engage sooner ( limiting suspension travel) . Why not just use a 2.5 spacer with the original spring.

Do you need or are you going to be putting on drop brackets?
@NeonTuner5242 жыл бұрын
I just did the same lift kit with a RTT and bed rack in the back. Also, a custom built drawer setup that maybe weights 100lbs. If you slightly load the bend, do you notice a HARD pitch up on the front?
@JDCarsChannel2 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Would love to see your drawer setup. The bed can handle a light load without a hard pitch up the front 👍

Can you please explain to me what they mean by putting the shock eye facing outside of the vehicle

Awesome video I'm getting a 3.5 lift from RC I think it's $2,300

I know you guys said its smooth but smooth for a lift? or smoother than stock or about the same?
@JDCarsChannel3 жыл бұрын
Andrew knows better than I, but initially he said it was stiffer than stock. A couple weeks later and we realized it was just as smooth as stock after breaking in the shocks :)

How hard was it taking bolts out of the drive shaft? I see y’all have a half inch impact, was it still a pain or did it come out with ease?

Love your videos! Question: I’ve seen several videos of people putting 37’s on Gladiators not needing spacers. Was it because of the rim offset ?
@JDCarsChannel2 жыл бұрын
Much appreciated! Yes, the spacers were needed because these wheels were previously on a Grand Cherokee SRT

That's a fancy torque wrench!

Any issues not having longer control arms?, I’m considering this kit for my Jeep and am concerned about the caster.
@JDCarsChannel2 жыл бұрын
No issues to report with the stock control arms!

Couldn’t you have used/purchased spring compressors and avoided taking apart almost everything around the suspension?
@JDCarsChannel3 жыл бұрын
I suppose so, but you'll still need to swap out your sway bar links and track bar
@ernestordonez733 жыл бұрын
So basically i can fit a coil springs lift on a stock rubicon gladiator without changing the factory shocks or suspension?
@JDCarsChannel3 жыл бұрын
Sort of kind of... you'll still want to swap the track bar and sway bar links
@Aceinfinity-le8zc3 жыл бұрын
Did you do anything to the control arms ?
@JDCarsChannel2 жыл бұрын
Nope! Not on this installation. Though we might do a large arm kit down the road!

Did Jeep sponsor a bunch of youtubers with these gladiators?

Not us! Hahaha

Hey man, if you still got the lift installed can you grab a measurement for me on the overall height of the vehicle. Ground to top of bed and ground to top of fender in the front. I would appreciate it

Ive never seen white components from RC. Cool video guys… I like the on screen socket key numbers pop up
@JDCarsChannel3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! We had these springs powdercoated locally. Glad the socket numbers are helpful!
