I agree %100 I own Grimm Brothers Offroad in Ashland and I have to say Rough Country has really stepped up their game in terms of Suspension quality. Just last week we installed a 3.5" lift on a JK and yesterday we received another Job with the exact same lift, but this time it came with control arm drops and in the box with a new drop pitman arm. These items were previously sold separately, but it seems rough country has become more conscious to the fact that today's consumers do not want to sacrifice ride quality for a lifted suspension and are answering that call.

You should have replaced the T-rod ends and ball joints when you did the lift installation. Just makes it easier overall. Any time you put a lift on and leave the stock ball joints and tierod ends on they will more than likely fail shortly afterwards, no matter who's lift kit you installed. I did a RC 6" on my 96 GMC Yukon 4x4, and replaced tierod ends and ball joints with Balkamp ball joints and tierod ends. Truck is used for trails and off-road 75% of the time, I don’t beat on my truck, but I’m also not afraid of pushing it. They hit the mark, at least for my old ass hoopty. I had a 6 inch RC suspension lift kit on my 2003 Z71 Tahoe on 33's with a RC steering stabilizer. This was at least 7 years ago and it was probably not as nice as the newer RC products, but I beat the living shit out of that truck and never once had an issue with the kit. I would floor it up curbs head-on and have zero issues.. literally just beating the shit outta that truck. In my experience, Rough country is a good company. They will make it right if anything bad does happen or if anything is faulty. Overall, I would definitely recommend RC products.

Rc long arm kits are kinda worth it. Dont put there joints on. Do yourself a faver and just get johhny joints. Also bilstein shocks. Will save yourself some time. We have had the 4 inch RC lift on our 03 tj for 3 years now. The lift has been great. The shocks are my only real issue. I have recently spoke to RC about select parts and have been told by cutomer service that the shocks are really being looked at because of the negative feedback. That being said. With our lift being as sound as it has been. We will soon be starting our TJ overland build for our trip to Alaska. No towns or cities for 60 days. Our Tj is going to be completely RC built. I put a Rough Country 6" lift in my 96 GMC Yukon three years ago, and my truck rides like a sports car, I have had NO ISSUES at all. It installed perfectly and had no issues installing, all instructions were spot on. I hate people that come on KZbin and start bitching about something that they have no clue about. All they can do is put it down and talk about how this kit or that kit is so much better. Bull Shit! The reality is if another company makes a kit that claims to be better that RC, chances are they cut corners and didn't weld components as well as RC, didn't use as high of quality metal, or paint on their parts, and in the end, they don't perform as well or last as well as RC. Three years and hit the trails and pull trucks out of the mud in places they shouldn't have gone and after three years, I haven't got a single scratch on any part of the kit, no rust, no loose parts, everything is as solid as the day it was installed.

Hey I'm not gonna rag on rough country at all. It does the job for most people. That said, I do find it funny how it is the most advertised brand on trucks. You see a truck with a mild leveling kit and mud tires, and on the back windshield it reads "Rough Country" in big ass letters. That's like having loud bass, and putting a "BOSS" or "PYLE" decal on your truck..

@@nightstalker824 Kits can go way over $300 on RC. If you get the right RC parts the lift can actually be pretty nice.
