[3/7] Motorcycle trip to Wales 2019. Devils Staircase to Elan Valley Mid Wales.

Third episode of my 2019 motorcycle trip to Elan Valley in Wales which is absolutely stunning. No motorways, no main roads, just chilled motorbike ride in which I visit the Elan dams. This time on my motorcycle I'm exploring Mid Wales riding up the steepest hill in this part of Wales - the Devil's Staircase. Then I continue my motorcycle adventure through Llyn Brianne to Elan Valley and Rhayader mostly on single tracks. What can I say other than I really love mid Wales. What a place to be on your bike. And the Elan Valley is just epic, so I can only recommend it for a motorbike tour.

I grew up and spent a few years riding motorbikes in this area and all over Wales. Mid Wales, South West Wales (Pembrokeshire), North Wales (snowdonia), the coast road from Aberystwyth to Harlech, and North West Wales are all amazing. Pretty much stick to the west of Wales and the landscape and roads are quiet, beautiful and rewarding! Great videos by the way! :)

Superb trip. They speak of the Beacons but the Cambrians are far more rugged and wild. I've hiked much of what you drove through and I have to say 1 bike or car is to much for me. But thanks for sharing. Awesome. Mark

I hiked a lot when I was teenager and later I just wanted to see more and more and cover more distance in a shorter time, so the bike is perfect for that but I know that I can also miss a lot. One may say that I'm just a lazy bastard :) But hey, it's all about enjoying the beauty of the nature, so let's do that no matter which way :) Cheers
