Thank you for this, my third-year project is writing an algorithm to optimize WIFI coverage in buildings and this is a perfect starting point given my Electromagnetic course doesn't begin until the second semester. Life saver

Good video, although there's a small mistake when you discuss p polarisation. When you give the equations for the reflected and transmitted fields, on the slide you use the the the perpendicular fresnel coefficients when it should be the parallel (you give the parallel coefficients on the slide, it's just a typo ;-)). Still, really good video!

Question,:when the angle of incidence is zero, there is no physical difference between S- and P- polarization. Why there is 180 degree shift only for S- ?

Hello good video, can you help me plz? Estimate the approximate output coupling power losses (in percent) from Fresnel reflection at normal incidence in a phosphor/air interface, where the phosphor has an index of 2.3 and air has a refractive index of 1.

Thank you very much! Your video really helps me understanding this material. Due to this COVID-19 pandemic, I have to study from home, BUT my lecture doesn't give any explanation of the material :((
