Its a tough choice for James Gunn.

Help Hope and Compassion For All ! I loved all the different live action Supergirl's Helen Slater , Laura Vandervoort , Melissa Benoist and Sasha Calle with Melissa Benoist from The CW DCTV Arrowverse being the best. Sure CW's Supergirl had it's issues and flaws but for me enjoyed the series and Melissa was such a bad ass in the series so wholesome and like Christopher Reeve's Superman Mel embodied Supergirl Kara for a new generation. As far as the DCU Supergirl for Supergirl: Woman of Tommrow and the top casting choices Meg Donnelly I hope she gets the role of Supergirl Kara Zor-EL she also voiced Supergirl in the DC Animated Tomorrowverse films her she looks so much like a Sliver Age / early bronze age Kara. Just so you know, George Clooney & Miguel Ferrer are first cousins - same as Superman and Supergirl - so that will give you an idea of how dissimilar cousins can appear. A person with pale skin and straight red hair can have a cousin who is black and has an afro, because cousins only share as little as 4% of their DNA (though it _can_ be as high as 23%, with the average being 12.5%). Sibling can share as little as 38% of their DNA, so Milly Alcock and David Corenswet could play brother and sister and there'd be nothing wrong with it.
