hi, about roofslide scalerush, i try it but it seems I slide all the way down all the time. Any tips for me ? thank you

@@taitruong8042 sounds like you're holding C for too long or not pressing S at the right time. i'd say just keep trying until you get it right, unfortunately i can't explain it better than i did in the video

You can sprint out of a fast land (C in air). Just press C while midair, look behind you and start sprinting as soon as you land by holding W+ shift. Another practical way is double tap S mid air and then sprint forward (no camera movement).

The roofslide scalerush is very cool, I have never seen it before. I am able to do it about 80% of the time now after a 12 minute custom. I also want to add that there is a similar way to do the roofslide scalerush: You run to the edge of the roof (slide will not work), then right before you reach the edge hold your walk key (mine is ctrl) then long press C (enter crouching state). If done at the right time you won't see any of these animations. This will let you climb down onto the eave and scalerush, but it is a bit slower than the sliding version. However it is 100% consistent, very easy to execute. Love the guides, keep up the good work.

I gotta say that things like this is why I like Naraka. No matter how much you thing you know about the game, there is always something new and efficient to learn and master. I was looking for a tutorial to learn how to do the roof scale rush, and this helped a lot! I am practicing this right now to make this reliable enough to be consistent with it. Thanks a lot for the explanation.

If you roll you can press 'C' or Crouch to cancel the animation to go into another dodge or action quicker

I think I'm 6 month too late to see this video lol. Commenting on the roofslide tho I just can't figure it out on how to make it consistent, like every time when I think I got the timing right I always ended up failing. Most of the time I failed the combo when I tried to slide and the I press S + C I ended up waking back on the roof or just fall of the roof, and when I do S + C then LMB I always ended up doing midair attack at the edge of the roof.

It's not easy, I struggle with it as well since I got back from China and I'm rusty from barely playing the game for 3-4 weeks. Someone in the comment section found something with CTRL, it makes it slower but more consistent. You could try that if you can't get it to work without. It could be an FPS problem theoretically, if you're dropping the frames in which you should be grabbing onto the ledge, its hardware issue. Just some thoughts, maybe something helps you

​@@PenemueI think so too, I have suspect that it was all because of the FPS issue. I guess I will try lowering my graphic setting to get more FPS and get a better precision for the input.

@@hitoridatinao you should have everything on lowest pretty much, and try to get a minimum of 80 fps in chaotic group fights or the game is pretty much unplayable

Can you tapdodge with a small jump instead of a dubble jump?

Yeah you don’t even have to jump at all, you can also just fall or slide (if you’re taking about the C tapdodge)

maybe turn ceiling interaction on if you haven't already. that's like the first setting everyone changes when they are new to the game. can't really think of anything else and i don't know if ceiling interaction is even needed here - maybe for roofslide scalerush

same way. sprint, use crouch button to slide, let go, hit down on left stick at the same time as crouch button again
