I experience something similar to number two but only once. My dogs are barking like crazy and all of a sudden they stop. My bedroom is on the second floor kind of opposite to the kitchen where they stay but I can faintly hear my brothers voice talking to the dogs as if he is calming them down. Usually my dogs dont stop until someone talks to them so it was really unusual. I called his name after to say thank you and then all of a sudden the talking stopped. I thought it was weird because it became dead silent and cold. Thats when I realized that no one was home and I look from my window up on the driveway and realized that no car was even there. Right after that I heard footsteps going up the stairs and to which I ran and shut the door. I called my parents because I thought they stayed behind but to my horror I hear my brother’s voice in the car. Yeah that night wad terrifying since no one else was in the house but me and I swear I heard him talking.

I love that you do more of the paranormal stuff. People can choose whether or not to believe in it, or whether or not the stories or made up. I don't care either way, because im thoroughly entertained. People need to stop getting caught up in what's real and what isn't for things like this and just enjoy it.

Ive experienced Story 2 when I was a chronic heavy drinker and when I had withdrawals : I would hear my mom crying in pain and calling out my name, begging. I would hear it so distinctly and it would wake me even. But when I’d remember that she was thousands of milles away in a different country it would give me the worst terror.

I am from Myanmar. In my believes spirits like to call out a persons name. They can mimic anything. Never reply to them or pay attention or they will lure into their world...

I had a similar experience as Story 2. I was home alone in bed and the hall light clicked on. I looked over at the hall and saw a shadow of someone holding an ax. I screamed and closed the door and locked it and stood there for about 10 minutes. When nothing happened, I opened the door to darkness. I’ve never had something like that happen to me and I’ve never had another episode like that since.

The only creepy thing I can remember is I was at my friend's house once I was in the bathroom and I heard a whispering sound... Something in me told me not to answer it though...When I got back to the bedroom me and my friend was sharing I asked her if she was trying to whisper something to me while I was in the bathroom...She said no she didn't...We were paranoid for the rest of the night it took two hours for us to fall asleep...

Mind if I share? So this was probably about 10-11 years ago, I was a baby. This tall black figure would always stand in the corner om my childhood home, and would always stare at me. I only saw him a matter of 6-7 times, he never did anything but he basically had no features other than all white eyes and a mouth with giant teeth. I last saw him in the pantry at that house in about 2012. There was also a woman, very nice. She had ginger/brown curly hair and looked to be from the 1800's, that can be explained because the house was built in the 1850's. She had a grey-blue colored dress and fancy hat, very pale skin. She would sometimes stare at me and smile in that same corner, once she leaned over my cradle when I was baby and smiled at me. I remember her saying to me once when I was 5, dead eye contact, she said "I'm Mary" or something like that before vanishing completely. That was the last time I saw her ever again. We did some research and there was a Mary that lived in that town a few houses away from my house, and the tall black figure matched the description of the man from the house next door. We sold the house 2 1/2 years ago and I miss it alot, I've had a lot of other paranormal experiences there but these are the ones I can recall comepletely. My mom recalled me giggling when looking in that corner alot, thats how I remembered it. I would usually giggle because the lady would make silly faces at me, she was never hostile, I miss ya Mary and the tall black figure :(

When I was little I stayed at my friends house and before going to bed she looks at me and says "sometimes a strange man looks through the crack in the door. Just ignore him" and goes straight to sleep. I sat up for hours watching the door. Never saw anything thank God. I asked her about that years later and she looked at me in shock and said that she didn't remember that and if she had been playing a prank she would have remembered

I have heard someone call my name before. It sounded like my son or my daughter calling me in the middle of the night. It is always very creepy especially the last time it happened cuz the voice sounded so distorted that it woke me up and my heart was beating out of my chest and I couldn't go back to sleep for a few hours

The second story was freaky, but they obviously weren't ghosts. My only theory was that there was some sort of time-slip phenomenon going on in that house. Or if events were replaying themselves, only with the living. As if they were stuck in a loop. Like an email or text which gets delivered to the same recipient twice, when only sent once. But what contradicts this idea, is that the storyteller didn't say that his mother angrily called him and marched into his room later or previously from this experience. Nor the same concerning his brother calling him. What's also strange is that it only seemed to happen to the storyteller.

You're right, it wasn't a ghost, because there is no such thing. There are no wandering spirits because the dead know nothing. However, it was a demon, something people like to pretend doesn't exist, but they do. They can take any form they want, including that of a relative, living or dead.

Story 2 - person has experienced audio hallucinations but can’t get help because the parents "don’t believe in therapy"? Call CPS! Parents need to be jailed for neglect, for refusing to get medical help for an obviously ill child. Hallucinations are a very serious and concerning symptom. Could be mental illness, but it also could be a brain tumor or meningitis or something along those lines. Parents who refuse to get help for a child with any signs of mental or physical illness are unfit and MUST have their children removed and put in a safe environment.

Story 2 was pretty much my house growing up except for the none mum bit. There was 5 of us siblings and two adults. On a regular basis we would all hear our names being called there would be anyone of us standing at the top of the stairs shouting down asking what my mum wanted it was usually my mums voice everyone would hear, my room was closest to the stairs and I found it funny after a while hearing it happen. We had a talking room the house was an old pub it was quite a big house and the room sounded like a pub atmosphere but obviously no one there. There was so many things that happened in that house I couldn’t write them all here but there were funny things and creepy as hell things, we would so goodbye to someone leaving for example through the first kitchen barn type door then a loud back door my brother and his mate one night went out through both doors and my mum and myself were talking in the kitchen when we heard them first leave and then come back in through the loud door and their voices clearly talking just before the barn door to the kitchen we were in, they were there for a while and we were wondering why they hadn’t come through so I opened the door they were not there they hadn’t come back in but the room was doing the talking thing again. There were so many more things that happened it was crazy 😂😂 including my other brother waking up to an old woman at the bottom of his bed, my mum and stepdad seeing an old woman and child and me hearing a little girl singing at night thinking it was one of my two younger sisters but the were both asleep when I looked 😱😱 that was creepy af
