I don’t understand the last one! Why did he need a 555 time for that? Or a transformer? Or any of that? It was a light bulb that lit ! Lightbulbs work straight from the electric in the wall. Just connect the two wires, right? Was there something that happened there that I did not see? Why do all of that when you just need positive and common and plug it in?

He used 12v dc input. For a bulb rated 220v AC. That's why he needed the Inverter.

First one is a total waste of 555, this can be easily achieved with several npn transistors... it didn't even utilize 555, you just used it as a transistor
